We started our exam procedures shortly after arriving. Staff was pleasant. Our appointments with the doctor were informative. He answered all questions during the exam.

I only gave one star because you have to. Dr Halvey definitely has a side hustle working for social security disability. This is how he traumatized my partner. I had her apply for social security disability due to her lack of peripheral vision and high myopia. Mind you this is in 1997. It just so happen Dr. Halvey did the exam for social security. Less than interested he stated there is nothing wrong with her eyes. We already knew her eyes were bad but in between going back to Halvey for a second visit we went to have regular vision checked. She already had coke bottle glasses. The Optomitrist called an eye surgeon and made us go down there right away. I guess Dr Halvey didn’t see the 756 holes in her Retina on the left eye and 433 and a tear on the right eye the surgeon had to laser closed. She was informed that they have to report the dept of motor vehicles to relinquish her license. Being responsible we went to the DMV. She was 35. When we went back to Halvey I had a couple words with him. He still put a negative report making her get denied and had to appeal. . By the way many years later you may have figured out that she had MS which more often is found by a good eye Doctor. Her eye issue is a different issue. i have to say you tore my partner up emotionally. She felt you made her seem like a liar and trying to make the system. I have thought of this from time to time. I couldn’t remember his name until I sawwas no Google review back then. I hope this helps someone else with their vision or blindness. Especially if you’ve applied for SSD because of retinas that looked like Swiss cheese as explained to us by her eye surgeon. We did win the appeal after the retina surgery. Fast forward, she has a slice of vision left and gets shots in her eye. She can only see shadows and a small bit if she keep moving her head to grab it for a second. I can only attest to our experience with this doctor. I will never forget the fact that for a paycheck from social security he would sell out a patient whose eyes were that bad. As I sat here and wrote this I just realized my face has the look of disgust.

My husband and I have been with Dr Bovio for a year and a half- after my husband's stroke. The office and the staff are amazing! We have been thru ups and downs and Dr Bovio has stuck with us. It has been an emotional ride and I want to publicly apologize for a post I previously made out of sheer frustration and emotion. Today....my husband was fitted for his second pair of specialty glasses that enabled him to see almost perfectly. He was moved to tears and he is elated!!!!! THANK YOU Gulf Coast eye center!

I can' say enough about this practice! My first contact was Diane, I then knew this was going to be an awesome experience. I came in with an Acute tear duct blockage and was treated with kindness, concern, & compassion. Diane is soo personable I felt like like I've known her for years... Based on the customers walking in and joking with her I can see why... Viktoriya was also extremely kind. Dr. Brannon was the knowledgeable , precise, honest & skilled doctor I have been looking for. I'm on the road to recovery and feel very comfortable with the next steps ahead. Sorry for all the adjectives...They deserve it!!

I highly recommend a beauty specialist Victoria Aleini. I am very pleased with the result of a permanent powder eyebrows. Professionally matched shape and color of eyebrows. Great job.

Dr. Brannan, Diane, and Allison are a talented team and receiving eyelid care from them was a seamless and enjoyable experience. I highly recommend the practice as a whole, but specifically for the treatment of chalazions. Everyone was very friendly, professional, and the care was top-notch. Arriving to Sarasota with only a short window of time to have my chalazions treated, Diane worked to find an open appointment so Dr. Brannan could review and attempt to treat my issue. Dr. Brannan is a friendly physician who knows his trade very well and he didn't waste any time before recommending a well-thought out treatment regime. Despite our best efforts to avoid surgery, following a week of medication and observation, this outcome was unavoidable. When the day came, Dr. Brannon quickly and expertly took care of cutting and draining the chalazions on my eyelid. I never had any doubts about any of the team members' capabilities and felt comfortable throughout the entire process. Again, I give my highest recommendation to Dr. Brannan's practice. You'll be in good hands with him and the team.

Very professional and caring physician who definitely puts his patients first. Dr. Campbell took the time as well as effort to confirm that any problems I had were fully investigated and followed up to be sure that all was well. He is just a great doctor.
