Dr Werner is the consummate professional, as were her support team members. Organized, smart, thorough and offered insight as to why and what they were doing. Dr Werner explained results, compared to a year ago (deteriorated somewhat) and she offered solutions in a calm manner. I’m still doing homework, however if I move ahead it will be with Dr Werner at Center for Sight!

Very nice staff and wait time was minimal. I think my contacts are a little strong but will persevere for a few days. I was informed of I was uncomfortable they would adjust my prescription and would for a few months of necessary. Over great place and people. I will be recommending them to all my friends. I am extremely satisfied with the staff and the treatment given by Dr Banker. I was very anxious when I arrived at the centre, however, the pleasant staff put my mind at ease, and also, my physician husband. I highly recommend the Center For Sight. I had a great experience, everything ran very smoothly. Dr. Soscia and his assistant Patricia are very professional and explained procedures in great detail. Christine the Patient Care Counselor was very knowledgeable and did a great job of scheduling my procedure and explaining financial concerns.

Very good experience. I have been seeing Dr Hammond for the past 3 years and always get an accurate prescription for my glasses. She and Ryan have a lot of patience and are a pleasure to interact with.

Leslie is amazing. I have two kids, and they both require glasses, and since I met her two years ago, it's a blessing. She is the best at her job, and my kids love her. She is very professional and attentive. I definitely will keep coming with her and never any other place.

I wanted to let you know how amazing the staff at optical outlet is. I had to bring my 5 year old daughter in for a eye exam and then choose glasses from start to finish was a breeze one person sticks out her name is Leslie, she is super good with kids her personality is amazing. She assisted my daughter with choosing the perfect pair because she did not like the glasses i was choosing. Thanks Ladies you guys are awsome

I would not personally recommend Optical Outlets. Their glasses are overpriced, as well as their add-on features. Initially, I decided to go here based on their online prices. Unfortunately, they do not honor the prices listed on their own website. As others have mentioned, they also have very long waits and the front staff is very unorganized. If you are looking for great quality and amazing prices, I suggest you look at Zenni online. Zenni also has a far superior selection for both adults and kids. If you are going here because they accept Medicaid, just know that if you want glasses that are scratch-resistant/anti-glare/transitional (all of which are pretty necessary) , you will still be paying more out-of-pocket than from an online retailer without insurance. In store prices are increased for insurance (including medicaid) customers.

We went to another retina specialist and found Dr. Shane’s office to be so much more professional, in every way! The wait time was minimal, the staff was very clean and knowledgeable, and experience, for my mother was excellent… I would highly recommend this retina office over some of the other ones in Sarasota

I stumbled upon Dr. Shane's office via Google search. I was looking for a 3rd opinion on a retinal issue I was uncertain about. The doctor that gave a 2nd opinion (which was suggested by another doctor that gave my 1st opinion due to uncertainty) recommended outpatient surgery which I wasn't too keen on carrying out because my eyesight was perfect (no corrective lenses) and I am not symptomatic. Reading about Dr. Shane, I learned of his residency at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute and decided that he will be my best bet on making a well informed decision. I contacted the practice, explained the situation, and was told that Dr. Shane would like to see me as soon as possible. The practice is superb. It has a professional and friendly atmosphere. The staff I interacted with were all wonderful. Examination was prompt and carried out with a delicate touch. I received an opinion not only from Dr. Shane, but from an assisting opthalmologist/retinal specialist as well. The result of their inspection brought me great relief as surgery was not recommended due to it being unnecessary in my case at this point in time. Direct, clear and concise language was used to explain: the situation, what I need to watch out for, and options I can choose to implement now or later down the road at my own discretion which allowed me to feel in control. In the end, Dr.Shane is there if and when I need him which is comforting. I am grateful for discovering Dr. Shane and his practice. I wholeheartedly recommend him and his staff for anyone plagued with any anxiety spawned from uncertainty.

I appreciate that this practice saw me even though I was not their patient. I was turned away by others. I am an out-of-state visitor on vacation and was experiencing a potential retina emergency. I called on a Saturday and their answering service got me in touch with them and they made me an appointment first thing Monday morning. I appreciate that they set my mind at ease in case I did need an emergency procedure done.
