I recently had an excellent experience with Dr. Melton and his assistant. They were both incredibly kind and informative, taking the time to thoroughly explain a new eye issue I’ve been having. Dr. Melton's exceptional bedside manner was truly commendable. I would highly recommend him to anyone!

I have been a patient of Dr Melton’s for many years. He is very knowledgeable, and very clear in his communication. He is also extremely personable, very patient, and always conveys a real sense of compassion, care, and interest in me as a patient. In these times of highly corporatized medicine and healthcare, when an office visit can often be dehumanizing for both patient and healthcare providers, Dr Melton is truly exceptional in his ability to deliver the highest quality patient care in all respects!

Wanted to find a private practice optometrist and so glad I found this office. Dr. Collins is the best I've seen. She is incredibly knowledgeable and experienced, and took the time to explain everything thoroughly. The staff was also great. They were all very friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to make me feel welcome. I did not have to wait long for my appointment, and the office was super clean and comfortable.

I have been going to Dr. Shook for over 20 years. She has always been very sweet and takes us time with each person. The Office staff is very nice and does a great job too.

I am extremely delighted and grateful that I made the decision to undergo lasik eye surgery. Like many others, I turned to Google to find the most reputable lasik surgeon in Charlotte, NC. After reading several positive reviews, I felt confident in my choice. For over 15 years, I had been relying on expensive contact lenses, spending a significant amount of money. This year, I made a promise to myself that once my three-month supply of contacts ran out, I would take the leap and schedule a consultation for the surgery. When I finally reached the last pair of contacts, I knew it was the opportune moment to act. I began searching on Google and stumbled upon the Lasik Vision Institute. Initially, I thought it was an educational institution, but to my surprise, it was a specialized clinic. I promptly contacted them and managed to secure a consultation for the following Monday. During the consultation, they determined that I was an excellent candidate for the procedure and scheduled me for surgery on Friday of the same week. The efficiency of their service was remarkable. The entire procedure lasted a mere 13 minutes – a truly swift process. To my absolute delight, when I woke up the next day, my vision was an outstanding 20/15, surpassing even the standard 20/20, and I experienced no burning sensation or grittiness. Now is the time, book your appointment! It will be the BEST MONEY YOU EVER SPEND!

2 words…..”Easy-Peasy”……it was a seamless experience! Both the initial consultation and the actual surgery, I was in and out! The staff as well as the surgeon are remarkable!! I felt very comfortable from walking in for the first time to my post-op visit today! I was so nervous going on but after the first consultation I was more at ease. Everyone was so polite and welcoming. On the day of the surgery the doctor overheard a few of us talking and his comments really helped calm our nerves. The surgery was so fast and painless. Literally done in 10 minutes. Would definitely recommend it

I really liked the optometrist here. The wait was a little longer than I would have liked, but they do take same day appointments and have walk ins, so I can’t complain too much. They were friendly and seemed to do a good job. They also have a separate door so you don’t even have to go into Walmart if you don’t want to (I hate Walmart)! It was about $120 for an eye exam without vision insurance. I’m probably going to try to go to Costco next time since it’s cheaper, but you can’t beat the convenience of this place for a reasonable price.
