I like Dr Wachs. I have been seeing him yearly for many years now. He takes the time to do a good thorough exam. He is super nice to talk to and can explain things in a way I (not being a Doctor) understand. If I asked questions he explains the answer well They are easy to schedule with and located in an easy to get to location.

Had to move on. I really believe it’s a staffing problem. But nonetheless a problem. Inaccuracies. Have to call them to follow up numerous times. And ended up spending hundreds of dollars on a pair of glasses I can’t see out of. Frustrating, time consuming and disregard for my money.

Great Doctor. Spent a lot of time. Was patient with questions and did his best to help us (my wife and me) find the best solution to our vision needs. I would recommend him to anyone.

The doctor and receptionist are wonderful. Very knowledgeable and kind. The tech , however, is kind of rude and a little insensitive. She was trying to be nice but made some presumptuous remarks regarding my autistic child and pushy when it came to the procedure for dilation. She had the vibe that she really just didn't want to be bothered with being there at the time.

About 2 years ago, they diagnosed my son with clogged eye duct and were able to schedule and do operation quick and easy. Highly recommend!

Would have to be one of the worst on time scheduling medical facilities in Lexington. Beautiful building and nice staff behind the counter. sadly, they have been placed in a problem situation.

This was an exceptionally uncomplicated procedure. I took a friend to have cataract surgery in my home town and it was so much more involved and complicated than what I experienced. If you have to travel to see Dr, Wortz it is well worth it. Commonwealth Eye Surgery is a first class operation. All the employees and doctors are great. I highly recommend it.
