when Dr. Gregory Hoffpauir came in to the room he was rude to me and his staff. He raised his voice at them and belittled them, in front of me, Implying that they were incompetent. I feel that it was unnecessary and very unprofessional. He continuously implied that my eye Dr., ( the one who referred me to him) was not a good doctor, as well He is by far the rudest dr. I have very seen!!

The young lady (Whitley) working there the morning of March 17, 2021 was not interested at all in helping me find frames for my lenses. She was anxious to get back to her cell phone. Good luck coming here.

This Walmart at 6495 Atlanta Hwy, Montgomery, AL 36117 vision center completely sucks! Every last one of the vision staff needs to be fired and replaced with people who actually cares about the customers. I live a good ways out and when I need answers about my prescription and my glasses I don’t have time to drive a whole 40 minutes for them to not know basic things they know nothing and that’s when they actually answer the phone and don’t put you on hold for 30minutes all to hang up is very sad! I truly hope someone talk some sense into the rude staff because this is unacceptable for the whole Walmart.

Please do not use Dr Shinn. He performed cataract surgery on me and inserted an incorrect prescription lens in my eye and admitted it. Rather than offering to replace the incorrect lens, he said he would “laser” my eye to try and repair it which is not a viable option for restoring vision. I opted to go to UAB Callahan Eye hospital to restore my vision. Since, I’ve heard of two more patients of his that have had the same experience with Dr. Shin His mistake cost me over $3000 out of pocket to rectify. I’m just glad UAB was able to rectify his mistake.

The office was very clean and professional. Everyone was very nice and efficient at their jobs. I came to Dr. Izer concerning my chronic hypertension possibly affecting my eye health. He educated me on how it wasn't, and there were no signs of degradation. Dr. Izer took a lot of stress off my plate. I highly recommend his office.
