17th Street Optometry is an optometry practice in Tustin. The practice has served Tustin for over 30 years. Founder Dr. Thomas Rippner and Dr. Cynthia Broady shaped it, and Dr. Alexander Elson, who joined in 2016, took over after her 2023 retirement. As of 2023, Dr. Elson is one of only 3 private practice optometrists in Orange County to complete a fellowship in scleral lenses.

I had a specific eye test performed at 17th Street Optometry. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Very professional. In particular, Parker went above and beyond the call of duty. Glad he worked with me. Very nice office.

I did a walk in not knowing what to expect. They greeted me immediately, engaged in conversation and were clearly quite competent. The exam/evaluation was excellent. I had been looking for an optometrist that could meet my very unusual eyesight needs.. They would appear to be a perfect solution. I will reserve final assessment until after I receive my progressives. But in general they were extremely professional and friendly. I actually enjoyed The Visit

I have been coming here for over 7 years. I have never been treated better than here. The staff is absolutely amazing and exceptionally helpful. They go out of their way to help you with absolute kindness. I return for the staff and amazing quality I have always received. Dr Brody really takes her time with all of her Patients and genuinely connects with you. The appointment never feels rushed and the ensure you are always comfortable with everything
