I have lost my trust in the Eye Center. I was sent home recently with eye-drops that only my doctor can give me. His nurse gave me 2ml of drops to last for 7 weeks. Of course, it didn't quite make it to 3 weeks. Now I have to call to get more and how long will that take? The doctor is too busy to give me much time, the staff doesn't really seem to care, and if there were someplace else to go in my area I would. Here I am going blind because of glaucoma and I feel like I'm just some guy with insurance money.

I don't know why there's such a turnover there. My first eval was a complete farce. I didn't know any better. My 2nd appointment a yr later went very amazing. I had a woman who was incredibly thorough especially since my entire issue is a major one that needs special attention to optic nerve and eye functioning. Well my appointment was supposed to be in Feb of 2023 it had been re aceduled on their end 8 more times then at last notice got a letter that newest appointment had been cancelled altogether, that the person who over saw my case had left the practice. My friend I referred there had just set up the appointment the new insurance ect dor them to have cancelled on them already now 3 times. Really horrible communication and lack of keeping appointments they scheduled. One time i had someone pick me up and bring me for the dialating part, i got there with the appointment paper they sent and i never received a call they had cancelled it just 3 days prior knowing i wouldnt get it in the mail. Haneous way of treating patients. When bringing this up there in office at rhe reception desk the attitude i got, was no less than ghetto and me asking her anything pissed her off. No clue whats happening here but avoid it. No warnin, what's worse is I need neuro opthamologist review done to check my optic nerve and the worsening of my vision and why it's doing what it is with the condition I have, is absolutely unacceptable and so unprofessional, I wouldn't recommend anyone here especially if you need anual checks or more to be pro active on your specific condition. I'd gladly show all my cancelled appointments they did in just one year alone. I do and always come with the receipts. DONT SCHEDULE ANYTHING WITH them.

Dr. Mac is great. He did a very through exam for my daughter. He seems very knowledgeable! Thank you Dr. Mac!

All employees were very professional and polite. Everything went very smoothly.

Seconds before I was to be taken to cataract surgery on my left eye, on Feb. 7, '24, I was nervous and waiting. He stopped by and said good afternoon. I started asking him a question about the eye drops about my previous right eye surgery. For some unknown reason he quickly turned around, raised his hand and brought it down fast as a gesture of disapproval and dismissal and left. This, coming from a professional at a critical moment that has affected me deeply has kept me wondering what I had done to deserve this rudeness from my medical professional.

I won't be seeing this guy..thanks for the honest review
