Dr Elmalem is an exceptional doctor. She is competent professional and has great bedside manner because of this there is often a wait to see her which can be frustrating but she is worth it.

Dr. Elmalem is exceptional. Answers all your questions never rushes you no matter how late it is. Takes her time and really cares about her patients.

I used to be her patient. I asked a question about glaucoma and she asked me to bother another eye doctor with such questions. Very rude. She believes she is the last Coke in the dessert and her knowledge is unquestionable. Please look for another provider. Healthcare is all about compassion. She is very far from that practical level

Dr. Elmalem is a walking danger. Besides the fact that she was rude, she dilated my pupils without warning me of what that entailed. That was my first time getting dilated and she didn't even asked me if I had someone to drive me home! There is no way I could have driven back home. By the grace of God, that day my husband was waiting for me in the car, but Dr. Valerie didn't know that. This is beyond malpractice.
