Dr Danzo did me a real service. While I had initially thought I was a candidate for Lasik, he actually advised that I wait. While most clinics would probably encourage me to do it, he took the time to understand my situation and concerns and he spent 20 minutes helping me think through whether it was the right choice. Very appreciative of his transparency and would highly recommend this clinic to anyone.

I was really nervous going into my LASIK procedure but the staff really put me at ease. The procedure itself was surprisingly quick and straightforward. Before I knew it, it was over! Recovery was smooth and the results have been absolutely incredible, truly lifechanging. I could not be happier with my results and my choice of provider. If you're on the fence because you're scared (like I was), take the plunge! We did many interviews with many different RLE facilities, and this one was by far the most professional office. The whole experience was great, from the initial contact, thru surgery, and the follow up. They were able to correct my near and far eyesight to better than 20/20. After a long search for a trustworthy place to get LASIK done, I found 20/20 Institute through Google—and I cannot recommend them enough. I had my surgery just yesterday and already have 20/15 vision (which is better than 20/20!) Every person I encountered was extremely professional and kind, and the doctor who performed my surgery has around 20 years of experience—and it showed. Going into it, I was extremely nervous (as I hate anyone touching my eyes or potentially affecting my vision negatively), but the team put me completely at ease. What really stood out was how thorough their process is. Pre-surgery, they have a detailed evaluation to make sure you’re even a candidate for the procedure. Post-surgery, they schedule both a 1-day and 1-week follow-up appointment, which speaks to how committed they are to your satisfaction and long-term results. If you’re considering LASIK, I highly recommend coming here!

Sorry, long but thorough review below: My husband and I had our Lasik procedure done here on 10/17 and I have to say it was a phenomenal experience. The entire staff here is amazing and extremely nice. We have worn glasses for years and were just over them so we decided to go for it and 20/20 had the best reviews on both Google and Yelp. Like I said the staff in it's entirety from the doctor's to the check in desk and the folks on the phones are all amazing! They definitely know their stuff and information. They are extremely thorough when going through every step you will have done. Beginning to End; The eye exam they will do regardless of if you just had one a month ago to make sure it's perfect and they do all the tests you would at your normal eye doctor. After that they'll let you know if you're a good candidate or not and go forward with scheduling your procedure and your follow up visits! Procedure day you'll get there get your payment set up and they offer financing which is amazing! Then once that is squared away you'll get taken back and go over everything and get your take home bags with your antibiotic drops and eyedrops for afterwards. They will give you the "Valium" (not sure the actual name) to help you keep calm during the procedure and will let that take effect for 20 minutes then bring you into the procedure room and start the procedure. The procedure itself literally took maybe 9 minutes and really isn't painful but they aren't kidding when they warn you about the pressure pushing on your eye during the flap cutting phase but it lasted maybe 30 seconds if that. The nurses in the room with you are AMAZINGLY AMAZING and help you stay calm and let you squeeze a stress ball or their hands. I loved them for giving me their hands because I damn near had a panic attack when my second eye was done. Once I was done they sat me up and we were quickly checked by the doctor looking in my eyes to make sure everything looked good and we went home with our ride. We got home and went to sleep for probably 4 hours then woke up and took the extra sleeping aid they gave us to sleep the rest of the night. Woke up the following day AND I COULD SEE CLEARLY!!! I literally had 20/20 vision the day after! It truly is an amazing procedure and I am so happy we did it. It is worth the money and insurance took a good chunk off surprisingly. I am constantly looking for my glasses and trying to push them up even though I'm not wearing any LOL. DON'T HESITATE!!! COME HERE FOR LASIK!!

I'm about a month out from surgery and my vision is fantastic. Everything has been really smooth. The initial recovery time was way quicker than expected and very easy. They have the process dialed in. They care about your comfort and vision. I would definitely recommend this group to anyone considering lasik.

I was very nervous and concerned to get this done just for the simple fact of it being surgery. I wait over a year until I finally pushed my self to get it scheduled. I did my research and found 2020 institute. I am so thankful I did! I was leaning towards Lasik plus but after hearing a few concerning things, I'm glad I chose 2020 institute! 2020 institute sat on the phone with me for the free consultation for close to an hour. They were not trying to rush me off the phone within 10 minutes like Lasik plus did. They were so very friendly and helped calm my nerves. They were SO upfront about everything! More so than the other companies. They answered every question I had and even when I called two more times after the consultation, they were more than happy to talk with me and answer all questions I had! The surgery day was a breeze! It was painless and way quicker than expected. For a few seconds, there was pressure around the eye being worked on but it wasn't terrible. This now marks a month after getting my Lasik done and I couldn't be happier! I'm 20/15! Better than 20/20! So long glasses! So long night time glares! I had my ICL surgery done yesterday (August 21, 2025), and I feel incredible. I honestly can’t even remember the last time I saw 20/20 this clearly! From the very first consultation, to the second one (because of my trip), to the actual surgery, and even the post-op care—everything has been exceptional. A solid 10/10! The entire team is so professional and takes the time to explain everything in detail. I also love that they’re conservative in their approach—because we only get one pair of eyes, and that matters! Before my first consultation, I had already done some research and knew I probably wouldn’t qualify for LASIK. During the consultation, Elizabeth and Dr. O (forgive me, I’m terrible with names!) were very honest and told me, “You’re not a candidate for regular LASIK due to your high prescription—it’s not safe. Some places might do it, but we don’t recommend it.” The moment I heard that, I knew I could trust 20/20! I only have one pair of eyes, and I didn’t want to risk complications after surgery. The Belleview location I went to is so clean and comfortable. The whole team is professional, and what really stood out to me was that on surgery day, someone I’d already interacted with during my consultations came back with me to the surgery area. That meant so much—it calmed me down and gave me so much confidence that I was in good hands. Oh, and the snacks! They have a snack and drink station for while you wait—and even road snacks for when you leave. Like how cool is that! Love that little touch!!!!! Getting LASIK was the best decision I ever made. The second best decision was getting it here! I can't say enough good things about my entire experience. The staff (Sabrina, Nick, Jacquelyn, Lexie, all the doctors) truly make you feel catered to and not just any other patient. They are honest and truthful, they take necessary precautions and they never tried to pressure me into anything. I unfortunately had to reschedule my first surgery but they were so accommodating and rescheduled all my appointments to when I was ready. They ran extra tests on my eyes during my consultation and the day before the procedure to ensure my eyes were safe. They were honest to tell me I was not a candidate for LASIK in my right eye since my cornea is too thin and offered me alternate options. I ended up going with MonoVision LASIK which does not correct my right eye to 20/20 but will still be clear. I was also informed I would not be eligible to have a correction done in the future (if needed). My pricing was adjusted and I paid for the lower plan, when they could have easily sold me the more expensive one and I would have never been the wiser. The day of the procedure everyone was so caring and put me at ease and so much comfort. The procedure was done quickly and without a hitch. And they still haven't forgotten about me because I've been back two times with another follow up in a week. I will recommend 20/20 to anyone and everyone and I would return to them (if I could!)
