I visited the office for the second time this year. This year the doctor suggested I stay with my current contact lens despite of me informing him it has so many defects. They ordered a one year supply and told me that I will get a $200 rebate back. They gave me the code and I claimed it online. After a few days, I saw on the Alcon website that the claim was declined. When I reached out to Alcon, they said the receipt had mistakes, my name and date of pay were spelled and typed wrongly. I got the corrected the mistakes and submitted it again. Then I saw I only got a $100 rebate. When I contacted Alcon again, they told me for the second time you only get $100 back and the office had never mentioned that to me before. Even the nurse told me that without this $200 rebate it would be very expensive. I called the office and as I expected they did not have any solutions for me. I already paid the full amount. I would not go back there. Very dishonest and unorganized office. If they were honest with me, I could have moved with the other options and not pay $450!!

I did not see the doctor. My visit was solely to get my sunglasses adjusted. I met Leah who went above and beyond and helped me tremendously. She was professional, friendly, informative, and generous with her time. She ultimately adjusted my sunglasses - she did such a fabulous job! Thank you, Leah, for all your help and time. Your kindness is very much appreciated!

I came to Dr. Rich's office earlier this year (July) for a checkup. It had been nearly 5 years since my last eye exam and after a quick 45-minute visit I was fitted for new contacts and had a new prescription. Dr. Rich was very informative and answered all of my questions (very politely). One thing that was a pleasant surprise was the thought I would be a candidate for Lasik as well. My last optometrist said I had too much of an astigmatism and could not get the procedure. Dr. Rich was able to set me up with an appointment at a center in Newport, which he also handles all the pre-op and post-op care. I can't recommend A.V. Eyes enough. Definitely a great business in this small community (he's been here over 20 years) with a very helpful staff. When I ran out of contacts they were able to help me out with a short supply to tide me over (replacements were in the mail).
