Great small office. Very clean and nice. Great front staff and the dr made me very comftorable. There was a hickup while reading the prescription on my glasses but after a couple of redos it was figured out. I do not have my glasses yet but will update after I receive them. Update I received my glasses about 2 weeks to find the earpiece is broken. Ordered a new frame and when I went for them to switch lenses, they somehow dont fit in the same frame. Hmmm. Anyway now I'm waiting again for a new pair off glasses. I'll keep this updated as things occur.

If I could give this place negative stars I would. My 84 year old mother had an appointment at 2pm today. We arrived at 1:52. At no time did anyone tell us they would have to reschedule her appointment or that the Dr had an emergency nothing like that. At 3:09 my 84 year old mother said can we go I can't sit here anymore It's really sad when people think their time is more valuable than yours had she been an hour and a half late I'm sure that would not be ok. It was very unprofessional. We had a few more disasters in there with rude staff but it won't let me post that much. My mother's time is just as precious as Abilene Eye Care. Thank you very much for such a horrible experience I trusted in yall with my mother but I won't do it again. If you filed her Medicare I will contact the b.b.b. thank you

4 years ago: My visit was amazing. The staff up front was VERY friendly as I answered all my questions and I saw the doctor in no time. She answered questions I've asked other optometrists before to no avail. She also recommended a surgery others have said was impossible. She took her time to get my prescription just right to make sure I get the help I need to ease my eye pain. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!! **Updating July of 2022** My review hasn't changed. I just wanted to add. I had a freak accident with my glasses and called the very next day and they got me in IMMEDIATELY for an exam so I didn't have to wait an extended amount of time for a new pair. I can also say that Dr. Harvey takes her time and is extremely patient when examining my eyes. I know how hard it is with my unique case and can't imagine what is like for others but I've never felt as listened to by optometrists in the past as I do with her. I've read the other reviews and rolled my eyes. I'm sure not everyone can be pleased in this society of Karen's we live in. 😒
