I found Acuity and Dr. Vale through several friends of mine who had Lasik through him. Because my eyes were very bad at a -10 contact prescription, I wound up having PRK surgery instead. I was nervous about it because of my own anxiety and because PRK has a longer recovery time, but I absolutely do not regret having the surgery and doing it with Dr. Vale. He and his staff are incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and responsive. I've felt assured at every step of the process and thanks to their guidance and recovery plan, I've had a smooth healing process. If I had any questions along the way, the office was receptive and Dr. Vale himself often got on the phone to address my concerns personally. I absolutely recommend this office for anyone considering laser eye surgery.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Vale and his staff. I have worn contact lenses since 12 years old and only recently my eyes had become contact lens intolerant and glasses are not an option. Dr. Vale diagnosed an eyelid gland malfunction and rosacea on the initial visit. I always wondered what the white bumps were on my eyelids and why my face was always red, I just figured it was my Irish heritage. Surgery went perfectly and now I have 20/15 vision no halos or glares. I had a -6.50 prescription before. My eyelids look great and have a prescription topical ointment for my rosacea now. Dr. Vale is a walking encyclopedia and I learn something from him every time I see him. Highly recommend. Worth every penny.

Had PRK surgery about a month ago and still healing Dr. Vale was there for me 100% to answer my questions. So was the lovely and intelligent staff 🤍 one of them she specifically made sure I got my post surgery meds despite external set backs!
