I came here for help with my gastroparesis and elhers danlos syndrome. Absolutely phenomenal I 100% recommend booking a session. I felt relief after the first round of acupuncture. I recommend the massages in addition to acupuncture. I got mine done on my back/neck and feel like a new person afterwards! I never knew I could gain so much relief from these things!!! The people are so kind and friendly. My whole family comes to her and we all love her:)

I suffered joint pain around my knee after international travel.visited Dr. Xu’s center for moxibustion, massage and acupuncture. The pain is gone after first treatment, it is so magical. I highly recommended this center for any pain.

This is my 2nd visit to see Dr. Xu. Ive seen her in Troy and now Berkley location. She treated me for stiffness from arthritis in both knees and tendinitis in rt wrist using electro acupuncture. It's been 2 days since this 2nd treatment and I can fully bend my knees! She also did wet cupping (1st time doing this) and it really helped helped the inflammation. I highly recommend Dr. Xu Super flexible and works with you on prices!

I have had acupuncture done before in the State of Ohio, West Virginia and Texas. This place beats all of them. What a hidden gem. I have had lower back pain since a car accident in 2008. I hate pain medicine and chiropractors are temporary fixes. My pain level was an 8 going in. Within Minutes I felt relief. Went back for my second session today and had to write the review because I am back whole now! Highly recommend! First class treatment Dr Li knows what she is doing and how to fix what ails you!

Dr. Li really listens to my health concerns. She then addresses each problem area. Every visit for acupressure or acupuncture alleviates pain and restrictions. She has a wonderful bedside manner, is kind and friendly.

My husband and I are coming for both acupuncture and moxibustion as we're looking to start a family. We very much enjoy our visits and appreciate the emotional and physical support!

I've yet to meet Dr. Lu, but my overall impression of The Acupuncture Institute of Michigan is one based on the kindness, knowledge, and professionalism I've encountered through my visits thus far. The relief from the pain under my left shoulder blade, right L5-S1, and thoracic vertebrae has been significant in only a short few appointments. I highly recommend this business to anyone looking for a great alternative to western medicine.

The massage here is amazing! I would highly recommend coming here. I got a massage from Lian and all my pain went away. It was painful at the time but I felt much better afterwards. She’s also a cool person that is very sweet.

This facility has some of the best and high quality massages I have ever found while in Michigan for the last Three years! I keep coming back because of the perfect amount of applied pressure and how the staff are easily able to locate the points of issue and expertly work on them! I highly recommend coming here if you have not and also recommend getting the 60 minute massage! Dr. Xu and the massage therapist are always more and more amazing!
