My experience at the office was okay. There was a long wait time for my contact lens exam. Service wasn't average. My frustration started after leaving the office. I was sent home with a few new contact lenses to try. After trying them out, I went online through their website to order them. Turns out, this is considered out of network, which was not clear to me. (There's a small warning about this on the website now, but I do not remember seeing it when I ordered). After I got billed for the full amount, I called the office to try to understand why. They told me ordering online is basically a whole different operation. I asked if they could cancel and rebill through my insurance. They said they'd get back to me and never did. I ended up calling several more times and finally asked to speak to a manager who had no sympathy whatsoever and just said, "yeah we can't do that you have to just submit it as out of network." The whole thing has been really frustrating and time-consuming. I won't be going back here.

I have been a patient here under Dr. Noble for 9 years. I have always been incredibly impressed by the personable, knowledgable care by both the optometrists and optical department staff. Dr. Noble has retired and after my first experience since, I am switching practices. The doctor who has taken over is leaving, not a good sign. I had an issue with a pair of expensive glasses I purchased there and the optical department told me that they were unable to help me and unwilling to contact the manufacturer regarding repair. I was interested in purchasing eyeglasses and the experience was not positive. Today, I went to Boise Mountain Eyecare where I had the complete opposite experience and ordered my glasses there. Amy was incredibly helpful. I look forward to working with them in the future.

Be careful about letting these folks adjust your glasses if they are out of warranty. I purchased a set of glasses with them that I rarely used. They were a back up pair about 1.5 years old. I ended up needing to use them while I was getting a new pair of glasses made. The frames didn't quite sit right and were giving me a headache. They said they could try and adjust them. The lady adjusted them much too far the first attempt and then took two more attempts to correct. On the last attempt the frames broke. They said they were sorry, but since the frames were out of warranty they could only give me a 30% discount on the new frames. That mistake cost me $170. Would have be better to not have them touch the frames at all. If that is their policy they should warn you that if they try and adjust the frames and they break they won't take almost any responsibility.
