The staff was loud,it was a confusing visit. They gave me the wrong information regarding insurance. They claimed my insurance would not cover and no progressive.
They did point me to Bling in East Providence. We went there and they were fantastic.
I was able to get designer glasses for 350, with progressive, all covered by my insurance.
My advice would be to stay away. Essentially if you have medicare, I also have UH duel complete which they said would not cover. So wrong I was completely covered. Cost me nothing out of pocket.plus it is quite and service was friendly .

I was sent a bill for $135 for a follow-up appointment with only 3 days to pay several months after my last visit. This is especially frustrating because I told them my insurance would only cover one routine eye exam, and my doctor assured me that the follow-up wouldn't cost me anything. The follow-up to get my retinas dilated was awful, leaving me unable to work and in pain for hours. The optometrist even told me after checking my eyes and being unable to recall why I was asked to return that the second visit was completely unnecessary.
I was unable to speak to anyone from the billing office after calling for hours, and the front desk has been ignoring my calls after transferring me to billing one time.
I don't usually leave reviews, especially bad ones, but I can see that my experience is hardly unique, and I feel like the current high rating could be misleading people. This kind of behavior from their office is not acceptable. $135 is a lot of money to pay on short notice, and I can see that the invoice I was sent was printed out nearly an entire month before the postmark.
I don't know where you should go for your next eye exam, but this place isn't it.

They had me share a contact case with the patient in the room before me. Accidental or not this is unacceptable. I have been coming here for 25 years since it was located directly next door if anyone remembers that. They said my eyes were not to be dialated this time since it was done last year. Nothing was put in my eyes. They asked me to remove my contacts and after I put them back in my eyes I noticed a strange fluid in the case that was not supposed to be in there. They said sorry they dont know how it got in there. That is not comforting and Im a patient that never complains. You can see a orange sludge at the bottom in there too. Very gross and disturbing I thought these cases were new or at least thoroughly washed since its a medical office. Patients beware.
