My family of six has been going here for 3 years. They are a very professional office. I have never been treated rudely. We've had a positive experience every time we have gone there. I have been to two different eye doctors in the past two years who could never figure out the proper prescription for me. I tried Advanced Eye Care Center and finally have glasses and contacts that work! The doctor was amazing too!

This was my first visit to advanced eye center. Dr.Olivos corrected an over powered prescription from another facility. Now I can see more clearly than I have in years. Eva was very pleasant and helpful in picking out glasses. I would absolutely recommend this location and this doctor.

If one could enjoy getting a shot in the eye every month,you might suspect that they were insane. But, surprisingly, I look forward to my appointment. Do. Katz is skilled,, involved friendly, and charming. All of the assistants are caring and sweet. So, yes, I’m crazy. Crazy about Advanced Eye Care Center. After being a patient for many years, I recommend them with confidence.

I was seen in November 2022. Everyone was very nice. I was diagnosed with Macular Degeneration and was told that I would be referred to a specialist. That was the one and only time I heard from them. Two weeks after I called and asked about referral and they said someone would call me. Well it is now January 2023 and still NOTHING! They have lost three patients now! Thank you for taking my money (I paid out of pocket) and doing anything!

I am writing to provide feedback regarding my recent appointment at Dr. Olivo's clinic, the Advance Eye Care Center situated on Port St. Lucie Boulevard. While Dr. Olivo's medical expertise remains commendable, I feel compelled to address a concerning experience encountered with a member of the front desk staff, particularly within the glasses department. During my visit, while seeking guidance on eyewear selections and discussing contact lenses, I encountered a staff member who exhibited impatience and displayed discourteous behavior. Her demeanor, characterized by dismissive body language, conveyed a lack of willingness to assist. My intent was simply to gain clarity on the payment process, a matter of importance considering my collaborative approach to financial decisions with my spouse. Despite my appreciation for Dr. Olivo's professionalism, I am hopeful that the clinic management will take appropriate measures to address and rectify the conduct of the staff member in question. As a result of this experience, regrettably, my family and I have decided not to return to this clinic. It is my sincere belief that fostering a welcoming and respectful environment for all patients is paramount to the success and reputation of any medical establishment.

I went in for my visit and was diagnosed with mites on my eyelashes I was given expired medication by just a month but still expired I followed directions but my eye continued to get worse to the point I woke up and couldn’t open my eye . I went to another eye Dr and he said I didn’t have mites on my eyelashes I had an eye infection, I contacted this office who misdiagnosed me nobody would call me back, ignored my calls. Wouldn’t address me (called almost 2 months)let alone offer me my money back. Btw it was a lady Dr.

Great doctor and staff, a very thorough evaluation. The doctor showed concern for not only my eyesight but my overall health as well. They truly care about their patients. My family has been receiving their services for years and we appreciate the dedication that they give each patient.

Advanced eye care is a wonderful facility. My husband and I really appreciated the staff. The receptionist was Janet, she got us all signed in it was no problem. Elaine was the technician (I believe), brought us back and checked on what kind of glasses we were using. Then Elaine brought us back to see the Doctor. Dr. Sharon Gordon saw us one at a time, she was thorough, kind, knowledgeable and professional. After we had our eyes dilated, we were brought over to Samantha. She was the person who sold us our frames to match our lens of which Dr. Gordon prescribed. I also got a second pair for around $69.00 (without Insurance). Our glasses costs (with Insurance) altogether $27.00 for the copay. Samantha was great, had lots patience and knew all of the prices to all the frames I tried on (there was alot). If you have Insurance call to see if they take your type. The last step Dr. Gordon brought us back to make sure there was nothing major going with our eye!!! It being Florida we need to wear better eye protect! That was it, I will continue to use Advanced eye care as my Optometrist and any eye problems. Thank you Tricia and Jim Cox

These people are completely 💯 in the wrong field. I had to go back three times to have them check mi eyes glasses prescription because they couldn’t make it right from the start and every single time I went back they changed my vision and eyes glasses prescription … after 3 months later 👉 prescription still not straight up. Save your time and money and go to a real professional eye examination center. The staff at the desks working on your glasses and selling the lenses aren’t competitive either, they show lack of respect and patience to customers. These place cost me time and money. 👎👎👎. Will try to go back for the 4th time to see if they can accept to assume responsibility and made it right or to reimburse me 💯 of the money they took from me. If they can’t do it righ they shouldn’t take peoples money. Will be updating this review after.

I recently started going here and have received only the kindest care. My doctors have always been kind and even joked with me during my appointments. However,I have experienced rude customers that enjoy staring and bad mouthing the staff. I do my best to be kind and courteous of the staff as they are doing their best. All my calls have always been answered, sometimes even twice in one day. They are a popular location that takes many appointments a day so only cancel if absolutely necessary, my spot was snatched within minutes of canceling.

I’ve been going to this eye doctor for 5 years since we moved from here…Love the lady doctor and her assistant. They are great. Insurance works great with them, and the staff is very helpful. They do what they need to do. Maybe the front desk needs help with customer service skills, but overall great place to go for eye exams. Ps. If you have a serious medically needed eye problem, go to an ophthalmologist. The optometrist is only good for general eye issues and eye wear.

Ordered glasses Fall of 23, Gals in optical center were lovely. My husband found the same. My husband’s glasses broke in February, and I had ordered a pair of sunglasses. Once again, our interactions with optical center personnel were pleasant, professional and very helpful. I’d highly recommend.

The Doctor is Great very nice, and the tech that came in with her was nice. When it came down to get the glasses for my son, Samantha I believe her name was, left us at the glasses station with out any explanation. When I asked to get contacts, she basically brushed me off, stated he would have to fitted and that there was a whole process. ( very lazy) she sat down on her phone the whole time!!! I was waiting there after picking the glasses, she saw me and continue talk to another staff, about candy without attending me. After a while I asked, what do I have to do because I was waiting there frustrated. She stated rudely that she had told me to sit down on her desk(which she didn’t). Very unprofessional!!! I ordered my son glasses because he needed them, but never again!!!!! I provided pictures her on her phone, we waited for at least 15-20 mins.

So just recently, I went to Advanced Eye Care Center in Port St Lucie. I had a wonderful time the staff there was great. They took very well care of me even though it's been about 2 or 3 years since I've gotten my eyes checked they didn't make me feel bad about it. I just want to say that Tiffany and Lucia took the time to help me pick out the best pair of glasses and told me the truth if something didn't look right and made me feel better about wearing glasses. I just want to say they did a wonderful job.

Worse experience ever!! Came inside with a really bad eye irritation ,they sent me to another doctor without even take a look of my eye. Then Sent me to the fort Pierce office driving by myself and asked me to be there by 3 pm when it was around 2:50 pm.not humanity at all,not compasión even though I was bagging to be seeing in pain!! Please look for doctors that are really engaged with their Carrer,not the money! We need love in this humanity !!🥲

I highly recommend this facility for its exemplary service, characterized by thoroughness, kindness, and professionalism from both the staff and the doctor. Their personable nature and willingness to engage in open communication made it easy to pose any questions I had. They demonstrated exceptional patience and understanding in addressing my child's needs, especially when she felt apprehensive about receiving eye drops and that contributed to make a more positive experience throughout the appointment. Furthermore, they communicated clearly regarding options for glasses, pricing for additional services, and were prompt in their follow-up when our order was ready. Thank you again!

I have been a patient at Advance Eye Center for some time, but the customer service has progressively worsened. Phone calls routinely go unanswered, and promised callbacks never happen. On Thursday, January 29th, I requested that the owner contact me directly. That request was ignored. At one point, I was physically outside the office while calling and observed the receptionist ignoring incoming calls. During my follow-up visit, when I asked why I had not received a call back, the receptionist smirked and dismissively stated, “Well, she’s over there,” rather than addressing the concern professionally. When I finally spoke with the owner, the interaction felt insincere and dismissive, with excuses offered instead of accountability. To make matters worse, at the end of my visit, I was refused further care and told it was due to a billing issue that had never been clearly communicated to me prior to my previous visit. Being denied care after raising legitimate concerns, without transparency or prior notice, was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. Patients deserve respect, communication, and honesty—none of which were demonstrated during this experience.

If you're going to try to schedule an appointment here, DON'T request an appointment on-line. I scheduled an appointment in January, received a confirmation that they had received my request, and today (in March)..."I don't see an appointment for you today." Why even go to the effort of creating an on-line appointment service, if you are going to simply ignore (ex-) customers who attempt to use it? The fact that in almost TWO MONTHS between attempting to schedule an appointment and today, not a single employee made any effort to tell me that you couldn't schedule me on the requested day and time is exceptionally poor customer service. I'll find someone else who actually WANTS my business...hopefully before my last pair of contact lenses wear out.

They ordered the wrong contacts after giving me the trial pack. Then charged me for the wrong pair because I opened them. No refund for their mistake. Plus the lady was so rude about it. Then I have to buy new contacts from them because the trial pair doesn't tell me what kind of contacts they are. They're crooks.

First appt at the Fort Pierce location with Dr. Olivo, I informed the Dr that I couldn't stay for the dilation of the eyes and I was informed that I needed to make a 2nd appt for the dilation. Fine, I made a 2nd appt at the Port St Lucie location. I was taken in at the appointed time by the MA who did some tests and said that Dr. Olivo would be right in. 45 minutes later Dr. Olivo comes in, puts drops in my eyes and says I'll be back in 10 minutes or so. Dr. Olivo never came back so after waiting another 45 minutes, I got up and left. Before that, I asked the MA and some other staff member to let me know when the doctor would be in, "he'll be right in" I was told...I don't know what is going on in the Port St Lucie office but that's ridiculous and I will never be back. I had the front lady print out my prescription and I'll get my glasses at another office that is on my insurance. I complained to the eye vendor my insurance uses and a review on Google! What a waste of time!!!

Very satisfied with the service received from the Advance Eye Care Center. I did not feel pressured into any one item. When I was ready to pick my frames, they were accommodating.
