Today was my first visit to Advanced EyeCare. I felt compelled to immediately share my experience. Upon walking in as a new client, I was asked if they could take my glasses to confirm the prescription on them. My son sat on my glasses 2.5 years ago and they have been wonky ever since. When the glasses returned to me, they were magically fixed. No one asked me or mentioned it, they just did it. Right then and there, I was happy. Then I sat down with Dr Redmond. He is so friendly, cheerful and easygoing. He instantly made me feel at ease, too. Usually, I spend a lot of time bouncing between lenses and attempting to decide which one is clearer for me. For some reason, that didn’t happen here. I was quickly able to decipher what worked and didn’t. He also walked my through test results, which I enjoyed learning about. Dr Redmond instantly understood that I had a stigmatism. I shared some concerns related to my stigmatsim, based off of information a previous doctor gave to me. Dr. Redmond corrected the information I was given, even showing me proof. I felt relieved and encouraged. He also shared that, with the amount of time I spent in front of a computer, I could really benefit from blue light blockers. It turns out, this was not an additional charge to add to my anti-reflective coating. I’m really excited for this! It could be a game changer for me! Once he personally walked me over to look at glasses and hand me off to the front desk staff, I immediately had two (and at times, three) lovely women helping me. They showed me glasses I would have never tried and had zero concern with me taking my time, trying on half the store! They were so wonderful, honest but kind, funny and complimentary. I never felt hurried or bothersome. Quite the opposite! Check out was incredibly quick and smooth, once I’d decided. Honestly, I left the store feeling so happy, I called my husband and sister immediately to tell them. The joy of the experience and the excitement for the new glasses and sunglasses they helped me find has lasted all through the day. Absolutely, without question, the best doctor experience of my life — and the greatest eyeglass experience. I wouldn’t just recommend this place to everyone, I’d scream it from the rooftops!
