I always take my two kids at Adventure Dental and Vision. I was having good service. But recently, I took my son at Adventure Dental at commerce city for wisdom teeth removal. I don't know she was a surgeon or not, she never told me about procedures. After surgery, she did not say how to take care. She just put papers inside the bag and send with the patient. I was not sure how to use the syringe to clean surgical area. Very disappointed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dr Micheal is by far the BEST dentist I’ve ever had for my children. My kids range from 6 years old to 18 years old and he does amazing with them all. At first we had some cavities and they weren’t brushing correctly but since we’ve been with him they brush better and haven’t been having cavities. I think it has a lot to do with him being on top of everything. There’s one particular hygienist that always stands out to me, she is so kind and sweet, I feel 100% confident she takes care of my kids how she would want someone to take care of her own. Unfortunately, I can’t remember her name but she’s been there the longest out of all the hygienists I seen today. Vision is amazing all the way around, they are so nice and caring. Front desk is mostly good, I prefer the lady with the blonde in her hair to go to each se she seems the most knowledgeable and kind.

I brought my son in for his yearly vision exam. During our visit the nurse stated that the doctor recommended for my sons eyes to be dilated. I stated that I was not wanting this to be done during our visit. Nurse stated that was fine. I waited for the doctor to come in. Doctor Madison Beagley came into the room and stated that it was required for my sons eyes to be dilated for her to be able to see them. I stated that I understood but that I did not want this procedure done to me sons eyes. She again stated that it was required and stated that for the next time she was going to have it required for him to be seen in the office and if I did not want to that I should go somewhere else. I felt pressured into doing something that I have never personally have had done in my life. I do not understand how something went from being recommended to being required in minutes. I wear contacts and I wear eyeglasses as well. She then stated that she went to school for 4 years and she basically knew more than I. My understanding is that as a parent it is my right to consent to certain treatments unless they are detrimental to my sons health. I believe that she wanted to get this done to be able to charge more to the Medicaid insurance my son has. I have done my research and this dilation off the pupils is not a requirement while being seen by an optometrist unless you are 60 years old. This doctor almost made it seem like she wanted to refuse service just because I didn’t not want to get my sons eyes dilated. I will be looking for another place to get my sons yearly vision exam. Thank you
