I had both eyes operated on for cataracts with excellent results. Doctors and staff are professional and friendly This is the first time in 50 years I do not have to wear glasses or contacts. Very happy with this outcomes. 🤩 …

I would not recommend to refer any patients to this office for ophthalmology care. First, the waiting area is crowded and unsafe for elderly who are at high risk for fall. The area is literally like a can of sardines since it was overcrowded for the three hours I was waiting with my mother who had an appointment for routine care. I believe the office is not a safe area in case of fire due to be overcrowded and only having one exit. Second, the front desk personnel is rude and inefficient. They do not greet you with the greeting of the day when they first addressed you, do not explain the two step process to check in and want to take a picture despite of asking for ID. The front desk personnel appeared to be unhappy and do not show any empathy for elderly who has difficulty with mobility. Third, the medical assistant/nursing staff does not introduce themselves to patient and family members. Therefore, we were not sure who my mother was talking to until I asked her to introduce herself. This was the first visit for my mother as a referral to this office. Fourth, I am afraid that the medical assistant did not have the right chart since she told my mother and I that she had cataracts and acute angle glaucoma without performing my mother an eye exam. After I asked multiple questions and told the assistant that my mother has never been diagnosed with the two diagnoses mentioned above, the person came back saying that my mother was treated in the past with procedures which my mother never had. Fifth, my mother had to wait two hours after the assistant saw her for just a diabetic ophthalmological annual exam that takes 10 minutes. Sixth, I was not able to talk to the physician despite of my mother having dementia. As a result, I was unclear what the ophthalmologist did to my mother. I am not even sure a physician saw my mother. Seventh, after talking to the patients in the waiting room, there were four patients scheduled at the same time my mother was scheduled to see one ophthalmologist. We had to be in this office for 2.5 hours despite of coming in 30 min to the appointment and having a scheduled appointment. Finally, I do not recommend that any elderly patient or any type of patient is referred to this ophthalmology office if you want to receive high quality, reliable and prompt care. I will discuss my experience with her primary care physician today to make sure my mother is never referred to this office for any care in the future.

Great doctors. This is a smaller practice but came here as I had an emergency and that is where my doctor was for the day. She offered to see me without an appointment. Truly excellent eye care!
