Dr Johnson is great. No complaints with him. They problem i have is watching groups of employees standing around talking about what they did on the weekend, while there are 10 or so patients in the waiting room. Our appointments take SO long now. I had an early appointment and I still got in the exam room late to see my doctor. Was there for over 2 hours. My time is valuable too. Very frustrating!

I appreciate the care and information I receive when I have an appointment at the Clinic with Dr. Johnson. My wait time was reasonable, I felt I was listened to and had my questions answered. Dr. Johnson and his staff were efficient and yet personable. Thank you folks for your help and attentiveness.

As always the kindest & most knowledgeable eye doc around! I used Dr.Leclair until he retired. Dr. Johnson is very popular as an eye doc& seems to me -has too many clients in a day. Poor guy has to go without a lunch break!! Since we know the original guy who started Spokane Clinic many years ago (Gates) doubt he would be impressed with how Dr. Johnson is used without complaining & way over booked. NOT fare... Pay him more or get additional docs from out of state- if necessary! Another suggestion, please tell clients they will need to spend around 2 hours to complete their appointment. I had an 8 app.& did not get called back until 8:20 and had to cancel my 10 am app. Overall I feel Spokane Eye Clinic is the best in Spokane. I have had cataract surgery, deteched retina, whole in my retina as well mono vision surgery & my eyes are doing well. Thanks, Carolyn Denison

I visited Dr. Alan Johnson at South hill Spokane Eye Clinic. The in training front desk lady was pretty nice. After I checked in I have to wait another 30 minutes from my appointment scheduled time, there finally came someone to get me in. They are not on time. The doctor is good. Other customer service needs improvement.

Dr. Johnson and his assistant that did the prep, are the best I have ever experienced. Dr. Johnson is great and deserves 10 stars, not just five! He is thorough, very professional, friendly and easy to talk with. Then he explained the results in detail...and in language I can understand. He was also there at the appointed time. I can't find enough words to express my appreciation and admiration for him. This is the first appointment I have had with him....sure hope to have him as my 'regular' at the Eye Clinic.

Dr Johnson is an excellent eye doctor. He does not rush you and is extremely thorough and efficient. I was impressed how quickly I was called back, how quickly Dr Johnson came in and how quickly I was on my way! All of the staff were friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend Dr Johnson!

I found the office staff to be very friendly and efficient. The lobby was spacious and comfortable and when I was called back into an examination room, the facility was clean, and the technician was very capable and professional. When the physician entered the examination room, he was very warm and talked me through all of the procedures. His demeanor was very kind and put me at ease immediately. My appointment took no longer than I expected, and I found the whole experience from beginning to end to be very positive, and I would highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a team of highly capable and friendly individuals.

Dr. Johnson is always friendly and caring during my eye exams. He’s easy to talk to, readily addresses questions and concerns and does an excellent job of evaluating my vision needs.

I had a wonderful visit at Spokane Eye Clinic for an eye exam. The appointment itself was done efficiently and the staff were very friendly. Dr. Johnson did a wonderful job explaining what he was seeing to me, thankfully all is healthy!

Dr. Johnson is always pleasant and professional but I waited 1 1/2 hour to see him. That is unacceptable. No one called to say he was running late, and ask if I would like to reschedule, no one came out to waiting room to explain he was running behind and nothing was said until I asked and was told they were short staffed. If this was a one off I could ignore it, but it isn't.

Dr Johnson was very attentive and inspired a lot of confidence through his professionalism and knowledge. He took time to address all my concerns and questions. Highly recommend.

Dr Johnson is the best eye doctor I’ve ever had but unfortunately, every time I have an appointment I wait 30 to 40 minutes before I’m taken back. I am conscientious about arriving on time so I appreciate when a practice also values my time. I do appreciate that he does a thorough job though.

I had something in my eye and needed to be seen as soon as possible. I was worked in quickly even though that process was not a great experience. Dr Johnson was very caring and thorough as was his assistant. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing eye care. Keep up the great work.

My experience at Spokane Eye Clinic was very good. Everyone was polite and well trained. Dr Johnson very good about answering any questions I had and gave me a thorough eye exam. I like that I didn't feel rushed doing my visit. Will return next year for my eye exam with Dr. Johnson

Dr. Johnson was GREAT! When I first went to SEC (Spokane Eye Clinic), I saw Dr. Snow who I loved. I’ve seen several other doctors there over the years, after Snow retired. Nobody was really human. Professional, really competent, but I always felt like a stick of furniture. There, taken care of, but just an impersonalized piece of their livelihood to work on. Then along comes Johnson. Interactive, good eye contact, felt he really was interested in me and my situation, stopped what he was doing looked at me when I asked questions! Wow. I felt heard and understood, and his answers were easy to understand and made sense. He even asked me one time if I understood what he was as saying. Great experience. Great doctor!

My visit with Dr. Alan Johnson was enjoyable and informative! Luke, his assistant, was terrific as well! Both were so personable! I'm in great hands having Dr. Johnson and his staff caring for my eye health.

Dr Johnson was his usual superb self. Professional, educating, pleasant. The wait time to see him was over an hour without any update from staff until I asked. The excuse from assistant was-“well, you know how healthcare is”… Not a valid or professional excuse. I worked in healthcare for 45 years and know how it should be handled

My husband Steven Fleury had a great experience with Dr Johnson today. Dr. Johnson removed a foreign object from his right eye which was from surgery a few weeks ago. It was scratching Steve's eye. Was very pleased with Dr. Johnson. Great eye doctor.

I was brought back to the exam room quickly. The technicians we're friendly, and informative. Dr. Johnson spent a good amount of time explaining, in detail, the results of my eye scan. And then spent a considerable amount of time working with me on developing my vision prescriptions. He provides health care in a very caring and professional manner.
