As the other comments say, this company said they were hiring me, sent paperwork to fill out etc. and sent me a check for $2480 and then asked me to cashapp it back for equipment, the bank flagged the transaction. I went in to the bank and spoke with them, they explained it was a scam. Once I asked them about it they stopped responding. So grateful the bank caught it and they didn’t get any money from me.

They didn't want me to go to the bank for help with the check! As soon as I did it said it was fraud, and they stopped responding!
