Ordered my contacts on a Monday. They told me it would only be 3 to 4 days. I called on the fourth day. Nothing I called on the fifth day and they got rude and told me that they are not there and they don’t know when they’re coming in, then they transferred me to another lady that Informs me that apparently that they don’t come in for 2 to 3 weeks. If that was the case they should’ve told me the day I ordered them I would’ve never ordered them. I actually need them. I will be going elsewhere for contacts and glasses from here on out!

Wonderful experience at this location, staff was friendly to my sister and I and knowledgeable. Bridget was the first person we talked to and helped us order glasses/contacts. She made the experience quick and straightforward. Dr Maria Lago was our eye doctor doing our exams, she was a joy! We had fun conversations. I highly recommend

I have been a customer for 20 years, getting two pairs of glasses each year. Last week I took a pair of frames that I had from a previous year that I wanted my current prescription lenses put in. My prescription was done at America's Best. I paid $350 for the lenses. Two days later I received a call the lab had broke my frames. America's Best solution to this issue was for me to buy another frame. What kind of business practice is this. If I had wanted to buy new frames, I would have. I loved the frames I had given them, hence the reason I wanted my current prescription put in these particular frames. They have discontinued this frame. The Manager at the Clocktower Square, West Des Moines, Iowa office was not willing to work with me. She said if you don't want to buy another frame then we will refund the $350. No sorry for the inconvenience. She blamed it on me for giving them "old frames". Which they were in excellent condition otherwise I would not have spent $350 on lenses to put into these frames. I wanted by frames back and she said I would have to come into the store and get them. I live 1 hour from the store and I declined. I asked for the frames to be mailed and the refund back to my CC. We will see how this turns out. I will never buy from America's Best again. Sad, been there for 20 years. New Manager has poor customer service skills.
