The Staff here at the Durham location is extremely helpful. I switched to Americas Best when my insurance change a few years back, and I’ve been pleased with the overall transition. They are truly a bunch of amazing people.

I have been a customer with America's Best for years. Recently, I had an appointment for myself and my daughter on two separate days. They were both terrible experiences. Not because of the staff. The staff was great and attentive to our service and needs. Both appointments, I was there for over two hours because they are using remote doctors that are working for multiple locations. This process is entirely too long. Not to mention that initially we were told that although our appointments were scheduled for 4:30pm, we may have to leave without being seen because the doctors gets off at 6pm! They had to cut corners and eliminate my daughter from seeing the tech before the doctor in order for us to be seen. If this is how the business will operate going forward, I will find a new eye center for my family. In both appointments, there were other patients there who had to leave because it was taking so long and they had other things to do. The remote providers for multiple locations system does not work.

The most terrible service experience I've ever experienced! My son and I were sent on a "fools errand" by the incompetent Manager at the Durham-Chapel Hill location. He sent us to their Briar Creek shop to outfit my son's contact lens without informing the store. On arriving at their Briar Creek store, the Manager sent us back to the Durham-Chapel Hill store for the lens fitting. When I complained about the time we had wasted, the Manager threatened to have me removed from the store, although I only complained in a calm voice! He didn't like the fact that I took umbrage by how he had treated us. Clearly, he was trying to cover up his incompetence and for dropping the ball. The dominant theme in the online reviews (truly) reflect how rude and disorganized the staff are in the Durham-Chapel Hill store where we bought contact lens. Suffice it to say that I'll not recommend the Durham-Chapel store to anyone for their contact lens needs.
