Update: the district manager made things right. I came in today on 8/26 and the service was amazing. It looked like everyone who was inside getting their glasses as well were being helped and seemed very satisfied too! It makes me happy to know that America’s best cares to make change and make a better environment for customers! I didn’t catch the ladies name who helped me with my eye contact class but she was amazing as well very kind and genuine! I’m honestly and surprised this location is still open. The customer service is absolutely horrible. The owner replies to the reviews but clearly isn’t making any change. I went in on 7/22 computer systems were down so they were not able to put my prescription in ( I understand things happen) they didn’t call me back until 3 days later while I was at work. I gave them a call back and they said one of the doctors would call me back. I never got a call back. So I called again and same thing and I never got a call back. I called AGAIN and spoke with a manager. I then came in on Friday at 6pm to finally get my glasses ordered and get my contacts, I’m waiting and waiting. Finally a doctor is available she walks towards me and says “ I’ll be right back” and proceeds to walk to her car all the way across the parking lot at that point I had just decided to leave and by the time I was in my car and pulling out she still hadn’t walked back in. This place is so unprofessional with absolutely no change being done. Save your time don’t go to americas best. I work in customer service and if any of my employees or myself acted this way we’d be written up or even fired. Get it together.

Had an appointment in the early afternoon on a weekday. I arrived early for my appointment and was checked in. Then I sat and waited for more than an HOUR in their waiting room. I asked the desk several times what was happening. Apparently they had Wi-Fi issues. Communication was non-existent. After watching people after me sent to the doctor, they finally said that the doctor wasn't available for me because it was virtual. Would be "soon". Given how long they let me sit on "soon" you can be sure I'll never return to America's best. There are far too many competent organizations out there to even give this one another chance. The real kicker is I wouldn't even be upset if they had to cancel my appointment or delay it. But they just chose to let me lose an hour of my life because they couldn't be upfront about their issues. Pathetic.

From the second I walked in the door, I was greeted by nice people. From taking my vision insurance, to getting me checked in for my yearly exam, everything was a snap, and then in no time I was taken back to the waiting area. I had sat there for 2-3 minutes and was taken in right at 5pm (on time) for my appointment. Alycia Meeker Muniz O.D.has always done my eye exams over the years and is very professional. Her prescriptions always have everything you need to order online. The store’s later-afternoon appointment times always work better for me also. Thanks again for another great, yearly eye check up!
