Visited the store to purchase eyeglasses and sunglasses on a Saturday afternoon. We were in the store for more than 40 minutes with 3 other customers. We were never once greeted or asked if we needed help. There were 4 employees visible in the front (1 who was assisting someone) while the others sat discussing their schedules for the next week. Please don’t worry about your future schedule if you can’t be bothered to work the one you currently have. I have bought glasses for myself and children at this location several times but with the lack of customer service displayed today I will spend my hard earned money somewhere else in the future.

First I must say all employees were very friendly. Also making the appointment online was convenient as I am a teacher and it is difficult to make phone calls back and forth during work hours. When I had finished the eye exam, I sat down to get glasses and pay. The man helping me was very friendly, but I told him the information he had printed out for my insurance was incorrect. He looked again and assured me that was what was in the system. It was a different company than what the local school system I work for has. I had been there for an hour and a half and was exhausted so I didn’t argue. He told me my insurance covers the eye exam so I owe nothing for that, but that it did not cover glasses. At that point, I knew the insurance information was incorrect because our insurance covers a generous amount toward frames and lenses, so I was just trying to be on my way and go somewhere else to get frames and lenses at another time. The unacceptable and what I feel was very deceptive and bad business, was when I told him that I was not purchasing anything, he told me I would owe around 25$ because my insurance only covers $45 toward eye exams and their eye exams are $69.95. To me, it felt like this company charges you extra for your exam if you do not purchase more from them. Why was my exam “covered by my insurance “ until I told the sales associate that I would not be purchasing glasses today and wanted to get the insurance straight first. Is this standard business practice by America’s Best? If so, just know this information before you visit an America’s Best. Respectfully, Cara Fulmer

Customer service is superb. Easy to schedule, everyone is warm and friendly. They know I’m ordering my glasses online and still go out of their way to be helpful and informative. Also, the eye exam was thorough. The doc explained everything he was looking at, and I was blown away by the medical diagnoses they can make from it - from cancer to high blood pressure. They have my business.
