I had a very pleasurable experience at this location. The staff was very pleasant and patient. The optometrist was professional. America's best has some really cool rebates on contact trials and they were very comprehensive explaining these deals to me. While there was a slight waiting time it didn't impact quality.

The front desk staff really deserve 5 stars. They were very pleasant, professional and knowledgeable. I went in for an appointment with my son (my daughter was with us). I wasn’t aware until I arrived that it would be a tele-health visit but decided to go ahead with it. My children immediately picked up on the tech’s disposition. He seemed annoyed during the pre-screening. It was my sons first screening and everything was not well explained, and initially I didn’t think that would be a big deal. After the pre-screening we did a second assessment and virtually met with the doctor. She tells me and sends a referral for my son to see a neurologist and have an MRI. I’m so grateful that I work in healthcare and was able to immediately reach out to a few providers. As recommended, I had my son re-tested within 48 hours at a different location. Completely different outcome. The new tech explained things to him very much in detail and was so patient. Because my son had a better understanding of each test and the reason for his positioning, he was able to cooperate better. The doctor also explained that children are a little different than adults and their attention wavers. I wouldn’t call the first ophthalmologist or the tech incompetent but I definitely echo the sentiments of my colleagues that the tech was likely being lazy and the diagnosis was irresponsible. I just wish I could get a refund on this particular exam.

I have always gotten great service at this Towson location from the doctors and customer service representatives. However, I must mention the extraordinary attention and help I got from General Manager, Mr.Jamal Crudup today. Mr. Crudup was professional, personable and knowledgeable.He anticipated and provided assistance that I didn't even know I needed. He went above and beyond and it was very pleasant dealing with him!
