I could write a 1,000 word glowing review of Dr Andros, but will try to keep it short! We have been going there since we moved to Strongsville in 2014. I am used to eye doctors mainly just checking on prescription changes and 30,000 foot view of eye health. Dr Andros is much more thorough and greatly cares for her patients. We have actually discovered an underlying health condition because of Dr Andros being so thorough and persistent. Plus the staff is extremely helpful and nice. I have an appointment once or twice a year, and they treat me like they know me as if I come in once or twice a week. I am lucky that they are 5 minutes from my house, but if we ever move I will gladly continue to make the drive out there.

I started seeing Dr. Andros in 2007. For 15 years I felt she provided me with good care and was a very competent eye doctor. She seemed thorough and concerned for her patients. After a relocation to a new city much further away, I needed to find a new doctor and requested my records be forwarded to him. The process of trying to obtain my records was very upsetting, to say the least. Suffice it to say, after 3 plus months of trying, I still have been unsuccessful getting my chart - my entire chart - forwarded to my new eye doctor. Considering she was monitoring an actual medical issue with my eye, and not just issuing me RX's for contacts/glasses, my history was especially important to me to be able to provide to my new eye doctor. Dr. Andros will likely provide you with good care, but I hope you never move, change insurance, or otherwise need to find a new eye doctor, because you will not receive a complete copy of your records. I do not know whether this refusal is deliberate or due to something lacking in their record keeping, but in my opinion, it is inexcusable either way.

Dr. Andros and her staff are wonderful and professional, always greeting me by name when I arrive. They use state of the art eye exam equipment (no machines that "puff" air into your eyes!), and Dr. Andros always provides a thorough examination, including showing you detailed digital graphics of your eyes/retinas. She answers every question I have, and I never feel rushed to leave. They have a great selection of eyewear from many brands and designers, and the staff is extremely helpful in their suggestions, and taking the time to work with me to find a pair of frames that suits me well and is in style. I always receive compliments from people after getting a new pair of glasses! In addition to my regular eye exams, I have contacted them about other potential eye-health issues, and they are quick to get me in to see Dr. Andros. I highly recommend Andros Gagliani Eye Center for your eye-health needs.
