I first started seeing Dr. Conway in May of 2020 with the knowledge from previous ophthalmologists that I have a vision-threatening form of posterior uveitis. But at that point in time, the exact form (and cause, if knowable) was unknown. At my first visit Dr. Conway treated me as a VIP client whose medical case she was determined to solve. She performed a very thorough work-up and, once my blood work and x-ray results came back, she provided a detailed diagnosis for my rather rare condition. I had the sense that she probably spent some outside time reading ophthalmology journals to help her put all the pieces together.
Since then, she continually encourages me to contact her whenever I experience what I think might be symptoms of a flare-up and she rapidly returns my calls and gets me in for a visit as quickly as possible whenever I reach out. I couldn’t wish for a better retinal or uveitis specialist!
Her staff are always helpful, patient and professional as well!

Dr Conway was extremely thorough and caring. And after the examination she took the time to ensure I completely understood not only my present condition but the mechanics of how the eyes and associated parts functioned.
I am delighted that I chose her as a care provider.
Karen her assistant explained each test and it’s purpose. She was friendly and helpful.
The receptionist was helpful and friendly as well.
The wait time was very short but I would have gladly waited longer if I knew what excellent care I would receive.

I have read some of the negative reports and think outside the box. First of all when dealing with the elderly it does take longer. Take in consideration they move slower and sometimes you may have to speak louder or repeat things. That’s what happens when you get older. And hopefully you will have a Dr like Dr. Conway who will take time with you when you get older. Knowing that there is a wait it is up to YOU to accommodate. And keep in mind when the Snowbirds are back in town the wait is long. No one likes to wait but if it is about whether you will keep your eye sight or not the wait is worth it. My husband is one of her younger clients and we watch the elderly come in and go. We don’t mind waiting.
I worked in the ER for 20 years and was always amazed at how inconsiderate some people were when they had to wait if we were working on a trauma patient or full arrest. As I am flying by them getting some equipment or drugs needed I would say... stop it. If this was your loved one you would want our full attention in giving them the best care we can. So a wait time in an eye Dr’s office vs wait time in ER during a trauma or full arrest I think you would choose the wait time in Dr. Conway’s office.
Thank you for your time.
