I went in for dry eye and was scheduled with Dr. Garrana. She recommended PRK, saying that my dry eye was caused by contacts lenses. The PRK went well (20/25) but I still have the dry eye 18 months later and need Restasis/drops regularly, so the original problem was never fixed. I also have some haze/astigmatism in my right eye that is new. Overall feel mixed about the results and felt she was dismissive when I noted concerns about things getting worse. There were also multiple times where I had to wait an hour to be seen. I will be looking for a new eye doctor.

Poor service with Rude staff!!!
There’s no respect for a patient’s time here at AEP jersey city. You have to wait for the doctor (Taj Khan) to show up 30+ minutes after your appointment time even though you are there 30 minutes ahead of your scheduled appointment. Obviously, they assign multiple patients for each time slot. AVOID THIS PLACE if you value your time and money.

TERRIBLE WAIT TIME. Waited for 20mins to get checked in, another 20mins to see the nurse practitioner, and another 30mins to see the doctor. Come here if you have at least 2hrs to spend. You can definitely find a place that values your time more.
