I was so pleased to have an appointment with Dr. Martinez. His warm smile, easy manner that expressed caring and concern were exactly what I needed to feel confident and at ease. Problems with one's vision is extremely stressful and he alleviated much of the stress I was feeling. His assistant was also cheerful and easy to talk to. I did not feel rushed or "just one more patient" and I really appreciate that.

I have the best care at Austin Retina. What I find so helpful is the staff is so happy and friendly. I’m usually a nervous wreck when I go there, but the staff puts me at ease. Worst experience ever. Waited for more 2 hours to see Dr Wang and before I saw him they told me he could not talk because his jaw hurts. My appointment was at 10:40, I checked in at 10:5 am and the doctor saw me until 12:20 pm. There were patients who came way after me that they were seen before me. When I left the office around 12;40 pm, there were not people in the waiting room. I think because I complained about the waiting, the staff put me at the end of the patients. I am Not coming back they don’t respect the patients time.
