Hilarious customer service. Just avoid this location if you don’t want to bother reading my terrible experience. With how good the front desk is at blocking patients from seeing their doctors, they should give the Baltimore Ravens a call. Lamar Jackson need yall on the offensive line. My 85 year old grandmother came in JUNE to have her eyes examined and they told her she needed a cataract surgery and it would be an easy procedure. She was ready to make an appointment for her surgery but the front desk said they’ll have a representative call her the next day to schedule it. ??? Ok so we waited 2 weeks. Never got a call back so we called them to see if we gave them the wrong number. Nope, they have the right number. We put down 2 more numbers they could call and they said they would get to us the next day. Another week goes by and still no call. We actually drove to their office and they told us to just wait because they can’t schedule surgeries in person. ??? They can only schedule on the phone LOL My grandmother ended up being better off scheduling a completely new doctor and surgeon at a different location because it’s OCTOBER (4 months) and still no call back from their “representative”. I would like to review the quality of their doctors/surgeon but it’s not like my grandmother got to see them because she still has cataracts and the front desk communicates through pigeons. Imagine waiting more than the entire summer solstice for a call to schedule a 30 minute surgery. I don’t know what their front desk gets paid to do 🤡 Maybe watch jeopardy and drink coffee? Skill issue

Took three weeks and they still didn’t have a trial pair of my contacts. Apparently they keep NO plus prescription contacts in stock for trials. I was told by the optical lady not to even call in and check on them, that she’d call me. And she had the nerve to get nasty with me when I said 3 weeks for trials is absurd and she refused to issue my Rx. I spoke with the manager who was nice and she emailed my ex to me the same day! I had my contacts the very next day from 800Contacts. And then the optical lady calls the next day to say my trials are in. She never ordered them that’s why and she got nasty because she screwed up. None of our family will return to any of their locations.

I have been a patient of Barenburg Eye Associates for over 40 years . Initially my doctor was Dr. Mark Gordon during my college years and I’m so happy to have his son Dr. Joshua Gordon as my amazing eye doctor. He is so caring and thorough when it comes to my vision. He works hard to make sure my corrective lenses and glasses are perfect for me. His personality is amazing because he truly CARES about his patients. I just love him !!
