For over 3 weeks I have been trying to make a surgical appointment for my husband's cataract surgery. First I was told that the surgical scheduler would call me. Nothing but crickets. I have call numerous times and have left a call back number. Again crickets. I have been toward 3 times that someone would ether call me the next day, or within 20 minutes, or by the end of the day. It hasn't happened. I am so damn frustrated with the scheduling department. There is more to this story but I am not going to write a novel to air all my grievances concerning scheduling. I just hope the doctor who is going to do my husband's cataract surgery is better than the scheduling department.

Check-in was simple and appointment was timely. Dr. Perkins and his staff listened to and quickly diagnosed issues with eye surgery by others. Will schedule treatments needed. Provided several options available until issues are resolved. No one was in a hurry to get to next appointment. I am totally pleased and confident my issues will be resolved.

Halloween was a weird day for eye/retina exam and consultation with retina physician costumed as Count Dracula! Add to that blurry vision due to dilation and pink vision due to ocular dye and the appointment was memorable. Quality of care was professional, informative, caring, and efficient. Appointments are lengthy processes, the many steps are organized for efficiency, and robotic in nature. Staff consists of individuals functioning well as a team, each completing their task precisely and without much personal connection. The time with the physician was more person centered, resulting in my concerns being addressed and my questions being answered. I felt listened to and had confidence in the care received.
