I've been coming here for 2 years. The doctor is soft spoken, professional, and respectful. I love doctors who don't try to get some small talk going. My exams never take long, and the price is competitive.

Dr. Stam is the Greatest! I have been going to him for over 5 years and wouldn't go anywhere else. I wear contacts for astigmatism and many doctors have a hard time prescribing and fitting them. Dr. Stam is spot on every time! His assistant Colleen is also great! She handles your insurance claims like a champ. If you're looking for Great Eye Care, this is the place!

Wow I love the fact that this eye doctor is in Walmart because I have Medicaid Transportaion to get me to my doctors so after my appointment I get to walk around Walmart until they come pick me up

Dr Stram is always so personable. He is very thorough in his exams. I never feel rushed. I have now been going here for a number of years. I’ve never waited very long. It has always been a positive experience.

Like a good mechanic, doctor and dentist...it’s nice to have the ophthalmologist category checked off. They got me in for a minor emergency right away. Dr. Stam has a great calm bedside manner. Half the staff was bubbly the other seemed like it’s another day at work. (No complaint it’s expected). A reasonable fee, quick service, kind demeanor, expertise and professionalism; what more could you ask for?

I really liked Dr. Stam, he was patient, informative, and was the first doctor to recommend a second pair of glasses for computer use. I'm looking forward to being headache free. I've been wearing glasses for 2 decades, and no one has ever talked with me about blue light filters before.

Didn’t have an appointment for an eye exam, but was accommodated anyway with only a 30-40 minute wait. Seems like a very efficiently managed eye care/eye exam facility. Doctor conducted my eye exam professionally, and recommended a specific brand of contact lenses as the type I normally wear/like were being phased out. Highly recommended.

I drive from the Northside of Jacksonville clear down to the Southside because I thoroughly trust Dr. Stam... and his team! Been a customer there for over 10 years now! I made a terrible mistake using someone closer to get my last set of glasses and will NEVER do that again! I would also recommend to anyone, if you want professional service and a great and friendly atmosphere to go see Dr. Stam and his team!!!

I couldn't tell you the last time I was at any business place and felt this magnitude of comfort. I felt like, I new the Doctor and receptionist for years, yet they maintained their level of professionalism. I would never go any place else. They are so humble, caring, compassionate, informative and they go above and beyond. My experience was great and I would definitely recommend to anyone.

So, at the urge of my husband I went in for an eye exam and turns out I have a condition that needs surgery. I was just writing off my symptoms as common migraines. So grateful for this doctor who was able to catch it and refer me to get my eyes fixed as I could have gone blind. The doctor was very kind and answered my questions and concerns. I highly recommend. Get your eyes checked!

I think Dr. Stan is thorough and his staff is competent. The overall value received is high-the cost is moderate and the exam is complete. He was ready to offer another suggestion for contacts that were not working so well. Just make sure you ask a lot of questions. When I got home, I realized I was not clear on 2 eye care activities he wanted me to do every day.
