The staff at Belleview Eye Associates are lovely! Dr. Leilani Phillips is knowledgeable, patient, professional, and just plain wonderful. She takes the time to check everything thoroughly and answers all of my questions. She is also extremely patient with my kids. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Phillips' practice and staff. Thank you for making my annual visits to your practice fantastic! A++

I was a new patient to Dr. Phillips as of March -Dr. Phillips was nice and seemingly thorough- however after I left my checkup, and settled into my contacts (that I ordered through the office), and ordered new glasses (that I ordered elsewhere) with my new prescription, I realized the RX was not comfortable for me. When I received my glasses they were very difficult to wear and I called and spoke to Linda and told her this- she zeroed in on the fact that I didn’t purchase my glasses there and instead of letting me confirm my prescription with Dr. Philips told me to go back to where I bought my glasses. I explained to Linda that it was the first time I had this issue, and also the first time I had seen the sphere and axis as being zero for my right eye. I mentioned that I had input it as the same as my left when ordering my glasses because I didn’t understand the prescription- she insisted this was correct and no mistakes were made and “that eyes change”. I had a suspicion that I had input my RX wrong when ordering my glasses and this was the issue, or the RX was simply too strong as my contacts were also uncomfortable. Again, I was not offered any help or assistance to confirm my prescription or to speak with Dr. Philips to explain how the sphere and axis works and if it was in fact different for each eye- as Linda apparently knew what was right for my eyes. I took one last try and emailed asking if I could please have Dr. Philips confirm my prescription and get back to me. No one responded. I’ve now had to go see another doctor for another exam out of pocket, for both glasses and contacts, since my insurance covered the visit to Belleview. I have a 90-day supply of contacts that are useless that I used my insurance benefits for. I also have an entirely different eye RX that works for me, despite Linda’s insistence on there being “no mistakes”. I realize there are lots of great reviews on here for this service provider and their front desk associates- but I will say that I was consistently treated unpleasantly by Linda whenever I called, and I will not be going back simply because of the customer service I received from her despite how nice Dr. Philips was. Word of caution- not everyone is treated with the same level of service here- especially if you choose to purchase your glasses elsewhere.
