I’ve been going to Dr. Chiao for 4 years now and have always had a pleasant experience. Not only is she kind, informative and professional—she has a great team who always provides outstanding customer service. I would highly recommend Belmont Shore Optometric if you are looking for a reputable eye doctor who offers easy scheduling and 5 star service.

The people there are friendly enough and their frames seem to be sturdy. They're also very expensive for frames. The lenses, however, are a whole other issue. I got my first pair last year, 2015. Within a few months, the lenses got scratched badly and started to crack. I thought maybe I was being too rough or something, despite never sleeping with them on and putting them away every night in the case. This year, I decided to get a warranty replacement on the lenses because I was moving out of the area. The process was simple enough, except the lady helping me didn't understand what I wanted and wanted to charge me. They were able to ship the glasses to me for $10, so that was nice. I've had them for 3 when they started cracking next to the shoulder in the frame. And 2 weeks later they have a ton of scratches and indents. I was extra careful with them this time. Making sure to only clean them with the solution they sent me with the microfiber cloth they sent. Putting them away every night. Either these lenses didn't have the anti-scratch coating I paid for or these lenses are just bad quality. I gave them 2 stars for their service. Worst lenses I've ever had.
