We have been seeing Dr. Ortman pretty much as soon as he took over the practice, around 2006 / 2007 - so he has been stuck with us for a long time. I always wear disposable contacts and I finally broke down to get glasses this year.
He is always very helpful, just like his staff. They always go above and beyond to make sure we are well taken care of and all of our questions are completely answered.

The eye doctor and eye exam were both fantastic! The optical dispensing was not, and my experience was not an isolated incident. I highly recommend getting your eye exam done here, and then going elsewhere to purchase eyewear.

I had a great experience at Black Diamond on my last visit. The office staff and technicians were friendly and helpful. But above all Dr. Cañas was amazing and thorough. She is one of the best optometrists I’ve ever seen!
