It is impossible to get an appointment here. I was on the phone for one and a half hours hoping to see an ophthalmologist as I had previous eye treatments done and the problem has not gone away. I was looking for a second opinion. My health insurance apparently required a referral and they told me on the phone I can not see by their eye specialists without a referral. I told them I have all the doctors notes and can bring it with me and they said nope. Then they told me I need a referral from Harvard Vanguard? It didn't make any sense as my PCP isn't even at Harvard Vanguard. They were unable to point me in the correct direction and simply would not do anything to help me figure out what was necessary to be seen. As a student starting medical school myself I am extremely disappointed in the barriers in access to care this facility has created. Disappointing. The receptionist was had no level knowledge considering she works in the field - I have worked as a front desk receptionist at a medical facility and I can tell you it's not that hard to try to get patients in who need to be seen. I will be spreading the word to medical colleagues not to come here. I am a former BU student too and could not believe that my own college could have such heartless people working in their hospital!

They had me booked at 7:40am a few days from when I called. I wrote it in my calendar for this address, but now they deny that they’ve ever talked to me, and have nothing open until December. This clinic is broken. Don’t waste your time.

They don’t pick up the phone!
