Went 2 weeks ago to get a new prescription done for my contacts. Service was fast. The dr wasn't the most friendly but helped me. After getting home and looking at the prescription few days layer to order new contacts. I cant read the prescription at all..scribble all over. I have been trying to get a hold of the vision center. Nothing. Doc is not in..we cant access the prescription. I called the office and left vm. Nothing. No call back..nothing. I should of went to another Walmart I use to go to get my prescription filled. Look elsewhere.

I had a very disappointing experience at South Florida Eye Centers inside the Hollywood Walmart with Dr. Farin G. Boyle. Really wish there were negative numbers available. Before my appointment, I contacted my insurance provider, Davis Vision, to verify my benefits. I was informed that my plan includes a $10 copay for a comprehensive eye examination and a $10 copay for a contact lens examination and fitting, along with separate allowances for eyeglasses and contact lenses. When I arrived, the office initially attempted to charge me more than $100. After reviewing my insurance information, the receptionist acknowledged that my responsibility was only the two $10 copays and corrected the charges. Before any examination was performed, Dr. Boyle advised me that my insurance did not cover the contact lens examination and fitting. I explained that I had just confirmed my benefits directly with Davis Vision. Dr Boyle was very rude and said that “he doesn’t have to provide me any services and I can go elsewhere.” While I was on the phone with my insurance representative in the office, Dr. Boyle changed his explanation and stated that he “doesn’t get paid” for contact lens fittings. Whether a provider is adequately reimbursed is an issue between the provider and the insurance company—not the patient. If a provider participates with an insurance network, patients should receive the benefits their plan provides. Because we could not resolve the disagreement, no examination or fitting was performed, and I left without receiving any services. I have filed a formal grievance with Davis Vision and encourage other patients to verify their benefits before accepting additional charges or a denial of covered services. If your experience is similar, I encourage you to contact your insurance company and request a review.

Horrible SCAMMING DOCOTOR . Came to get help for his Eyes the DOCTOR Literally Scared him into paying over 300$+ out of his pocket just for us to go to Another doctor get a 2nd opinion and be told it was just pink eye and almost healing . HORRIBLE DOCTOR BIG SCAMMER DONT TRUST HIM AND DONT COME HERE
