My visit here today gets a very bad and unhappy review …. My grandmother utilizes oxygen and has a portable tank to carry to appointments. She had a 10:30am appointment so we arrived at 10:15am. I patiently waited but noticed that the tank was reaching the refill line, so I approached the receptionist at 11:30am and informed her of the situation, then again at 11:47am, as my inquiry and request to speak with the office manager went unanswered. Then to add to the frustration, I heard the young lady in the photo attached, respond in a very uncaring response stating that “she was only one person”. Of course that set me off so I begin to demand to see the office manager and stated to the young lady that her response was totally unacceptable and inhumane because she didn’t even care nor took any attempts to avoid my hearing her. I work in property management so I am very familiar with appointments and scheduling, which was not the issue. The issue was how my informing them of the oxygen tank situation, was handled in an uncaring, unprofessional manner. Especially, considering these are all medical staff members who took an oath to provide needed medical care if necessary. And for the young lady in the photo attached and Dr. McCallum(who didn’t even greet us, nor introduced herself as she walked in to examine my grandmother), I pray that you both grasp a better way to address the patients that visit this facility because your behavior reflects on the facility as a whole. I’m gonna end this review by saying thank you to Heva, Rick and Marsha, for providing good service to my grandmother, your professionalism is greatly appreciated. I pray that our next visit ends with a better review.

This place 1st made me wait two months to tell me my insurance would not cover my contact lenses. After my insurance was informed, they told menot only would they cover the contacts, but they had already paid Braveman for them. Then they finally call me and said they had my contacts. to now figure out they gave me a supply for a year of contacts that had an expiration of four months prior. Since then, I have left several messages for them to exchange the expires suppliy and they will not return my call. It is very sad that business like this are in business.
I sure hope someone willl get back to me and provide the product that my insurance already paid for and it is not expired.

Every aspect of this business screams poor management. The lack of professionalism and disrespect towards the time of the patients/clients is most telling.
My unfortunate experience with Braverman Eye Center was while supporting my mother through her attempt at receiving care. She was scheduled for a procedure months ahead at another center, with a paper to prove it, calls ahead the day before and they confirm her scheduling. We get to the surgery center and nothing has been submitted on her behalf, therefore, no procedure. Head back to Braverman to reschedule, where the person responsible for the task takes a defensive stance and shifts the blame. No ownership, no apologies. My priority being my mother’s care, I focus on rescheduling not confronting the root cause, lack of accountability.
Later, I hear the whole story that reflect what multiple reviews have already stated.
It’s hard to believe this is a place entrusted to provide medical care. We are definitely done.
