Brooklyn Vision Therapy provides developmental optometry, vision therapy, and neuro-optometric rehabilitation in Brooklyn. Dr. Rima Bakhru founded the practice, which opened in February 2020 as the first clinic in Brooklyn specializing exclusively in this area.
Dr. Bakhru earned her Doctorate in Optometry from SUNY College of Optometry in 2015 and completed a residency in Vision Therapy and Rehabilitation. She holds FAAO and FCOVD fellowships and is among few New York City physicians trained in neuro-optometric rehabilitation.

Dr. Bakhru is amazing! I completed 6 months of vision therapy with her, and the entire process was excellent. She is unbelievably patient and always took the time to help me understand what was happening with my vision and why. Her positive attitude made appointments enjoyable and motivating. I also appreciated her extremely thorough documentation of my baseline and final assessments, as well as emails after each session explaining in detail how to perform the assigned exercises. She helped me to achieve significant improvements in my vision. I highly recommend Dr. Bakhru!
