I first saw dr burkholder in 2013. I had sudden onset on severe eye pain accompanied by redness. She immediately diagnosed my uveitis and suspected underlying autoimmune disease. She was the first doctor I saw and the first to suspect my diagnosis which was confirmed later only after I developed the "hallmark symptoms." I'm so grateful to have met her! She was paramount in my diagnosis and long term treatment. I very highly recommend her for anyone with immune issues or suspected immune issues that affect or can affect the eyes!
