I was looking for an optometrist who was closer to my home and California Optometry as one of the many that popped up in the choices. I'm so glad I went with Dr. Petrosyan's office, she's so personable and makes you feel heard. I take medication that can affect my vision, and she went above and beyond with the testing and photos to keep track of my vision, the macula to be precise. The staff and office are friendly. They have a nice selection of frames that suit your needs and budget. and to top it off, they have coffee and goodies there for their clients.

This review is well overdue! I've had the pleasure of visiting California Optometry several times now under the care of Dr. Petrosyan, and I must say, the experience exceeded all my expectations. I was recommended by a good friend of mine to her and I can see why my friend spoke so highly of her! From the moment I walked in, the front desk staff greeted me with warmth and professionalism, setting the tone for what turned out to be an exceptional visit. Dr. Petrosyan's dedication to her patients is truly commendable. She took the time to thoroughly examine my vision, demonstrating a level of care and attention that I haven't experienced anywhere else. I found California Optometry completely by accident. My insurance company had a list of places I could visit, and I was looking for anyone open on Saturdays. Boy, talk about lucking out! In a phrase, I'd say I felt "taken care of", which is hard to find! California Optometry almost feels more like a salon or boutique than a doctor's office. It's not a big office, but it's well decorated, modern, and the staff are as friendly as you could want. They offer beverages and snacks while you wait, and you won't be waiting long. Dr. Mariana Petrosyan is bubbly and sweet, full of energy and really fun to work with! I liked my old optometrist a lot, but they didn't take my company's insurance. Dr. Mariana was a real find: she's excellent at what she does and has terrific patient rapport. She found a few things my previous two optometrists missed, and my new glasses address the problem beautifully. I got new glasses and I'm working out which contacts will be better, and couldn't be happier with my new optometrist. Five stars in my book. Thanks Doc!
