I am surprised by the great reviews at this place. How has anyone even seen a doctor? Maybe the doctors are great but I haven’t had a chance to find out. I’ve called 3 times to try to get an appointment. First time I reached their answering service after hours which was no problem. The answering service took down my info and said the office would call me the following morning. That never happened. I called a second time yesterday, and was forwarded to voicemail after a couple rings. I called a third time today. My call was almost instantly picked up and the woman asked if she can place me on hold. I said okay no problem. Then continued to stay on hold for 30 minutes before I finally hung up.

I have been a patient at California Retina Consultants after an unfortunate accident in which I had a complete retina detachment five yrs. ago. Today was a routine annual appt/exam and I find the assistants and doctors top notch. The health of my eyes are their utmost concern and they treated me like I am a VIP. They have the latest in equipment which helps them give me a very accurate assessment of my eyes. I would highly recommend California Retina Consultants.

This doctor has a very caring staff and everyone there has a job to do to make sure your visit helps you with your health and eye site. Can not praise them enough.

Have been a patient here for a long time. They are always courteous, efficient and professional.

The staff was Professional and courteous the Doctor was very knowledgeable he took the time to explain my results and procedures.

1 star is to many. Our eye doctor called on Monday concerned about my teenage son having 3 hemorrhages in his right eye. The receptionist set up an appointment for Tuesday. We anxiously arrived Tuesday after driving an hour to be told nonchalantly that the receptionist made a mistake and should not have made an appointment for my son until Thursday. I asked to speak to the doctor and Dr. See would not come out and speak to me. They absolutely had no care or concern for my teenage son with 3 hemorrhages in his eye. There were not any other patients waiting. They honestly did not care about my son’s well being or vision. I was shocked that grown ups behaved that way and showed no concern in front of my son. I was just told “we are only human”. Ethically and morally wrong turning away a child that could possibly lose his vision. What have we become in this world? Shameful.

This business does not care about its customers. I keep getting called for someone else's appointment (I am not a patient here), even after telling them that they have the wrong number. Someone is going to miss their appointment and potentially get hurt, and it is entirely the fault of this company. I do not need an ophthalmologist, but if I did, I would not go here and I strongly recommend that anyone who does finds somewhere else that actually cares about its patients.

It is very important to me to be treated with respect. I found the employees to be friendly and explained the procedure in detail before during and after. Dr See reviewed the test results and answered my questions in a very professional and friendly way and not pressured me to get unnecessary treatment or more business as I experience with most other doctors.

This place are Butchers. My mom went for a simple Retina examine and they destroyed her eyes she’s in pain and the eyes is full of blood. If you don’t wanna go through the same suffering, just avoid this place. Stay away!

I had a great experience at CA Retina Consultants. The staff members were courteous, kind and very efficient. The office was clean. They had a good organized system of seeing patients, while also following the current safety protocols due to Covid 19. Thank you! I highly recommend.

Dr. See us one of kindest doctors I’ve seen. Although my visits are baseline and precautionary, the exams are thorough and the staff is wonderful. Hopefully I won’t need to visit California Retinal Consultants for anything major, but I’m glad I know they’re there if I do.

I had been noticing a red spot in my right eyesight plus blurred vision for about a month. My opthalmologist examined me and recommended that I see California Retina Specialists. They diagnosed me with a retinal hemorrhage which required an injection of medicine. The red spot went away the same day and my eyesight is back to normal! Dr. Gupta is very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. His lightheartedness put me at ease and he was able explain everything in an understandable manner. I'm very happy with the care they provided.

The doctors are excellent. My doctor saved my eyesight ..still seeing 20/20 after 6 years after he reattached my retina . The staff is very friendly and efficient. I wouldnt go to anyone else.

I am so grateful to be under the care of Dr.See. Hes not only knowledgeable and thorough but you feel that he truly cares about his patients. Losing your vision is one of the scariest losses you can have and preserving my good eye has been top priority for him. Also all his office staff is always so courteous and helpful. The initial first impression you have in a medical office always starts with the first phone call then the receptionist, both have always been amazingly helpful. And the back office staff are always greatly appreciated for their professionalism. I recommend this office 100%. Thank you!

Dr See and his staff are absolutely the best. The staff truly cares about the patients and are comforting while efficient. Losing your vision is so very scary but Dr See always takes the time to show me my scans and discuss treatment plans . I highly recommend this practice.
