Professionals, caring and good listeners

Good doctor but terrible scheduling. At times patients have to wait between 1 to 1 1/2 hours before being seen.

This place is a joke. My appointment was at 245. An hour and a half later still hadn't taken me back and even took two people who came 30 mins after me.

Great experience - top notch equipment, staff, doctor, office, low wait times. Perfect visit!

This team is the best the kindest people. I've dealt with rude places and I think this place was the best. They did surgery on my retina detachment and I couldn't be happier that it was them.

I found Dr. Heather and the staff to be thorough, efficient, knowledgeable and caring. I highly recommend them.

Very poor performance due to overbooking patients. Plus the receptionists are rude and gossip and constantly making personal phone calls and don’t give patients updates. So rude

The Westlake office is extremely organized and professional. All the staff are super kind. Dr. Yang is the best! She is knowledgeable, professional, kind, extremely thorough, and explains anything you have a question about. Truly amazing!

I am extremely grateful to everyone at the California Retina Consultants. From the receptionist to the the surgeons, everyone was amazing.

Immediately received an emergency appointment. My own specialist was unavailable but the woman who handled my case was incredible; well versed in my situation, good listener, so kind and thorough. I couldn’t be more satisfied.

The front desk office hung up on me after telling me rudely that they “only see patients with a referral” and they must have a note from the doctor. I attempted to explain that I am referred but I just don’t have the note at the moment, I will be happy to get it before my appointment. I also mentioned that it’s not an emergency. I am just advised by optometrist to establish routine assessments with retina specialist. If that’s how they communicate on the front desk, one is better of going somewhere else. Based on the other reviews (which I did not read before), it is clear that these providers are not served well by their front desk staff. What a shame.

I am very happy with California Retina Consultants. I have already recommended them to a friend and a relative. Although I had to wait due to an emergency patient, I would want the same care if I was the emergency patient. They are very professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. Dr. Nika Bagheri was wonderful. The staff too. All are well trained.

Everyone in his office were very friendly and focused on their services prior to seeing the doctor. Once we saw the doctor he was very informative on both the diagnosis and prognosis going forward. Great experience.
