I have been a patient of Capitol Eye Care for many years starting when it was known as Pomeroy Optical on State Street. Both the staff and Dr. Hoover have been very professional with me. I would gladly recommend this optometrist to anyone who needs a good eye doctor.

Had a great experience here. Everyone was really easy to work with. They helped me renew my prescription and get set up for contact lenses. Looking forward to my next visit.

I haven’t had a bad experience here, all great. I actually had an eye emergency and Dr. Hoover called around until he got me an appointment with a specialist who could help with the issue I was dealing with.
Normal appointments are fast and efficient, the staff are all beyond nice and willing to help.
The only even slight criticism is they chose horrid office locations. This location is better than the last but the parking here sucks especially if you drive a bigger vehicle but that is it!
