I have a very challenging prescription (bifocal, big astigmatism, nearsightedness) and have tried a bunch of optical shops unsuccessfully over the years. I am so happy I found Capitol Hill Vision! They have been so understanding and committed to getting me a pair of glasses that is perfect! I have never had this level of customer service, expertise and willingness to work with me until the glasses are a perfect. (Sarah is so knowledgeable and terrific to work with!) Plus, they’ve got a great selection of frames. Highly recommended!

I now have new glasses I can’t even wear. Went in to get my glasses adjusted because they kept sliding down my face due to a loose screw. They returned them in worse shape then before. See attached pictures. They said it took 3 different people to try to fix them- that should have been a clue to communicate concerns. If the glasses were in such disrepair as you claim, and beyond your technical capability, you should have communicated BEFORE attempting to fix them ultimately making it worse. Very upset because this place had great reviews.

Edit/Update: Thanks for the immediate response. I only went on here because I emailed several months back and never got a response, which I’m sure wasn’t intentional. (Customer service is usually excellent like this same/next day response on here) I appreciate the explanation very much!
So I did some research today and I will be switching to a different Medicare advantage plan that uses VSP and lists you as in network. (I was already on the fence about switching plans and possibly heading towards that decision anyway). And even better news it covers $50 more/year for glasses/contacts than this plan I’m already on.
I will keep in mind that that EyeMed (luxottica) rips off the providers and stay far away from them in the future. I apologize I kinda assumed it just had something to do with it being through medicare, and had no idea there is one you do accept.
