Caplan Eye clinic is excellent. Dr. Caplan treats you as though you were the most important patient. The staff is professional, courteous and knowledgeable. It is always pleasure going to Caplan Eye Clinic!

Cannot get call back (8 attempts) over six week period from office manager. Front desk staff and physicians are great. Very disappointed in lack of courtesy and consideration to not be able to get call back over a very small billing error that I need office manager to correct.

I’ve been going to the doctors at Caplan Eye Clinic for over 40+ years and have always had top notch A+++ care. I am always able to get an appointment right away when it is needed ( like when I have developed corneal abrasions) or when I had a sudden pain in my eye. It is quite easy to pull up in their driveway and find a parking space in their large parking lot. Their Metairie location is quite convenient to Lakeside Shopping Mall, the post office and many grocery stores. Dr Dan and the other docs are all very personable, as well as the staff that get you ready and prepared to get examined. They are kind and explain all the tests and are patient with you. I also have been very impressed with their optical and contact lens department, getting both visual aids quickly when needed. There are many nice frames to choose from that it makes Caplan Eye Clinic a one stop shop.. first for an examination and next for corrective glasses if they are necessary. I am in need of cataract surgery and wouldn’t think twice about going to someone else to do the surgery. Many of my friends have already had the surgery performed and they are doing great! When you are in need of an eye doctor, Caplan Eye Clinic is the one that should come to mind. You will be in safe hands!
