Dr. Mcgriff has treated myself and my daughter who is NOT an easy patient... For almost 10 years now. She is very professional yet gets you in and out quickly. The only problem i seem to have lately is dealing with the receptionist's lack of organization and work ethic. Its as if she's on another planet.

The office itself can be disorganized but Dr. McGriff is WONDERFUL and makes it worth any hassle. She has been treating my daughter for 18 years and I wouldn't go anywhere else for pediatric eye care.

Very unprofessional. They literally make their own rules. Rude and messy. Waited 40+ minutes after my scheduled appointment. When I asked the front desk lady. “How much longer?” she answered.” I don’t even know where she’s at, I can’t even find her”. Referring to the doctor.

They treated my daughter just fine but they seemed to care less if you were there or not as the parent. I mean I’m the one that chooses where she goes. They talked to her and only spoke to me as needed. The people that answer the phones act like they have no clue of what’s going on. When I asked for a copy of my daughter’s Rx it was like it was a problem stating that she already gave it to me. I mentioned that she probably did but I needed another one. Why should that have been an issue?!?! Not worth the annual visit…

This place is awful! I would avoid this place as much as possible. My daughter had an appointment scheduled which I had to cancel and reschedule however no one ever answers the phone and when you leave a message no one ever gets back to you. When I finally got the appointment rescheduled I was charged a $30 late cancellation fee. I mentioned to the lady up front that charge was not even supposed to happen since I tried for DAYS to cancel and reschedule. The lady told me someone would get back to me with a solution. It’s been 2 months and I have yet to get a call regarding this issue and also have not received my daughters glasses which were also ordered months ago. This place is so unprofessional! Save yourself time and go somewhere else.

For a public business facility they keep their doors locked during business hours and only allow you in as they see fit. Upon scheduling an appointment, they never mentioned masks being required, did not have any to give out, refused me from coming in for our appointment and left me and my 5 year old sitting outside in the cold waiting for someone to speak with. After 5-10 mins we eventually left. I called back to the office to make a complaint and left a message after calling a few times with no answer, as it was such a waste of time, and my child now has no excuse for school. It's been a week and no one has addressed my call or even been willing to reschedule his appointment considering it was a REFERRAL TO A PEDIATRIC SPECIALIST!!!!! I'm extremely disgusted with this office. Don't bother going here and wasting your time.

They scheduled a surgery for my son but completely failed to let us know. Had no idea about the surgery confirmation until the anesthesiologist called the DAY before the surgery. Then they couldn’t get their stuff together to give me details. Highly DO NOT recommend for surgery needs.

For a pediatric facility, I would not recommend anyone coming to this office. They are very rude and unprofessional. As far as treatment for families, they in no way understand the development or even basic physical needs of the children visiting for treatment. They spoke around me as if I wasn't even there. I felt as if my daughter and I were completely unimportant and just another number being checked off the quota list. My daughter's pediatrician referred me to this Eye Specialist for my daughter. He confirmed my appointment for today at 11:30 am. When I arrived 11:20 am, I approached the receptionist's desk and checked in for our appointment set for 11:30. The receptionist replied very tersely and rudely stating "We don't schedule appointments for 11:30." I stated that we had the appointment set for 11:30 by my daughter's doctor to please check this information. She then asked for my daughter's name and found her appointment. She stated the appointment for 11:00. She observed my 2 year old daughter drinking from her sippy cup and then told me that I needed to take the sippy cup away from my daughter because they don't allow food or drinks in the facility. I asked why, and she said that it was due to the carpet getting spots. I then stated "This is a pediatrician specialist and you do not allow toddlers to drink from their sippy cups?" The doctor was in the open hallway sitting in her office overhearing everything that was being stated to the receptionist. She then called the receptionists desk, despite the fact she was close by and I could hear everything she was saying. The doctor asked the receptionist over the phone why I was late and the receptionist said "She states her doctor scheduled the appointment for 11:30." The doctor then replied that she did not have time to see my daughter and that she had to leave. I then had to reschedule for my daughter to come in another day. I did not receive any appointment card.

Dr. McGriff is wonderful! She did amazing with my son's eye surgery. She's great with kids and answers all their questions thoroughly, as well as the parents questions.

We have been coming whre for three years, I had to reschedule my son's appointment last week because my car wouldn't start and triple a was going to take to long. Now they won't see my son till I pay a no show fee!!! Totally understable if I forgot the appointment but to be charged for something out of my control is insane.
