This was my first visit. Dr. Cavanaugh and his staff put me at ease from the minute l walked in. He and his staff are very personable, and caring. They were very thorough, explained my exam results in great detail and what needed to be done. Highly recommend their services to everyone.

Dr. Cavanaugh does cornea transplants and is the surgeon that does the most transplants in KC. He is an excellent doctor and his staff is very professional.

I received excellent care before, during and after my surgery as well as appts before and after the surgery. I was very impressed with the entire staff with whom I came in contact. Since I have dealt with a cornea issue for many years, I speak from experience with many specialists. At Dean McGee Eye Institute In Oklahoma City, OK, I saw physicians for max of five minutes and then dismissed. Finally they tried to put a huge contact in my eye which costs $500 (not covered by insurance) which did not work. I also had a cornea opthamalagist who tried to do heat treatments that would have cost $2000 also not covered by insurance. Didn't do that. 7 weeks out, I am so happy I went with the transplant.
