Great staff that go the extra mile! Love my new glasses! Cedar Rapids Eye staff helped save me a lot of money by working with the manufacturer insisting that warranty cover the cost of new frames (not an easy ordeal!). Also the Dr was very thorough when my eyes changed to make sure everything is ok.

Been coming here for about 6 years and they used to be great. The doctors are awesome, but in the last few years, they've gone downhill quickly. The glasses department is full of rude people who have no clue how to fit or adjust glasses, and they don't let you choose your own frames. The front desk, wow, worst people on the planet! So rude, arrogant, and argumentative. They constantly lie, make mistakes, and double charge you. I'm getting the feeling the charges are on purpose and there's a strong possibility they're dirty thieves. Stay away! There are other, much better eye doctors that will treat you right.
I read your response and you're liars. Most experienced you say? Yeah, she wanted to schedule my son for another dr visit because he still couldn't see out of brand new glasses from you guys, and don't tell me that wasn't to charge us even more money because yes, it was. I walked out and took him up the street to Iowa Eye Care, walked out 10 minutes later with him seeing perfectly. What did they do? Adjusted his glasses correctly for FREE. And your front desk, to sit and scream at me as I walk out the front door... real professional huh. Liars, scammers, and incompetent is what your place is. And all your 5 star reviews have to paid for because I know people who've gone to you and they say the exact same as me.

They are complete LIARS, and they can't adjust glasses properly like ever.
OK, here's my response to their response... they told me and my daughter that if you have bad vision, you will qualify for free contacts because they are a necessity. What they do is tell you that, then they turn around and run it through YOUR insurance. They treat you like you're so stupid that YOU just don't understand how your insurance works. Quit insulting my intelligence and LYING as usual. Nothing was free at all due to bad vision... so if they tell you that LIE, do not believe them. YOUR insurance and you pay. And don't act like that's free! That is a benefit we folks earn as a benefit from our job, and I paid weekly for MY insurance. And I know quite well how MY insurance works, and I don't need you telling me. What I needed was this pathetic, ill fitted glasses to be adjusted properly, that I PAID over $1000 for. Do your job, and that's not lying to customers. But once again, you lie in your response to what the REAL problem was. It's LYING to customers about FREE contacts due to bad vision that they supposedly qualify for. Using MY INSURANCE DOES NOT MEAN THEY ARE FREE! It means your are telling customers lies.
P.S. The eye Dr's are excellent. Too bad the front isn't.
